Hi all
I just bought an MTi2 and set it up.
Everything with the software works great however i can't get the HDMI sound to work. I just want to use it for computer sounds, watching tutorials etc
without having to use my ProTools HD system.
I've tried 2 brand new cables but still the same result, also there's popping/cracking from the built in speakers now and then
and also when i push whichever of the side control buttons. The only way to get rid of it is to turn the volume down to zero.
I don't have an option to choose the MTi2 HDMI sound in the sound preferences in OSX 10.9.5, only "Internal speakers", "Line out" and "Digital out"
Any ideas? I could of course try hooking up the line out to the input of the screen but i'm most worried about the weird crackling noise.
