Hi everyone, Raven works really well in Cubase 9/Windows 10. I have been using it for a week and it is all falling into place except for a few "glitches". The most problematic one is with the inability of batch commands to create specific instrument tracks like a Kontakt track for example. I don't know if this is due to some mistake I might be making or if it is a programing mistake. The Default Raven Layout has a few mistakes in it but they are easily fixed. So all in all the Raven has brought an element of fun to recording with a DAW and I am sure that all problems will be fixed in future updates.

These seems to work fine for me, are you trying to make your own, or are you trying to edit the default ones?? To program: 1. CNTRL I (to open new instrument track) 2. Click VST Instrument Menu 3. Name of Instrument. 4. Enter. Be sure you have Clear Text on and the default color scheme for the Pixel detection mouse clicks to be able to find the instrument window etc. Batch Commander for Cubase/Nuendo www.youtube.com/watch?v=QJ2NDlbx2Ko

Thank you Jamie. I will try your suggestions and will keep you posted. I almost need a check list to make sure that everything is set up properly.

Hi Jamie, thank you for the Kontakt Batch Command. My problem was that Raven could not find where to click to open the Instrument Window.(I move the windows around). After some trial and error I managed to create a new "click" command and it is working really well now. Is there a default location for the various windows? I really enjoy using Raven and as a bonus the touch monitor works quite well with Bitwig which has a Tablet set-up.

The "Recording" function is based on X/Y axis so any windows that move around will be tough to program with these clicks. But the new instrument window should always show up in the same spot.. However, the pre programmed clicks are Pixel based, so they don't care where the window is.. Where you unable to get that click to work? Did you confirm you have Clear Type Text enabled like in the startup video?? If you would like help getting these working file a ticket for a screen share. slatemt.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=61177

Hi Jamie, I managed to make batch commands to open instrument windows . It felt good to get it to work, kind of like solving a riddle. To be honest I don't know much about pixels so a "pixel based" system does not mean much to me but I'll take your word for it. Thanks for your help Jamie; Raven and Cubase 9 on Win 10 are firing on all cylinders for me right now so screen share is not needed.

Hi Jamie, Raven and Cubase on Win10 are working perfectly for me right now so feel free to delete this thread or edit its title as it could be misleading. The commands did not work due to my lack of knowledge rather than some issue with the software. Again thanks for the help and I hope that Raven for Ableton on Win10 will be released soon. C.
