In DP 9.12, the following buttons dont work at all for me.
the create group/auto suspend (neither work) the MEM button in the markers recall blocks.
Do they work for you? Or is this bugs?
-thanks

Nope...there are a bunch of Raven buttons that don't work... I had to go in a reprogram most of the BC's. Not sure why the preprogrammed ones are broken. But if you modify what they already have and set up your own short cuts in the command window of DP you can do most of what you need. The list of commands in DP is comprehensive. If you get stuck JameyZ is the wiz and will get you pointed in the right direction.

Or is this bugs? -thanks The MEM button brings up the markers on the side bar. Which is the key command "SHIFT K" and this works fine on my system. Perhaps if you already have the makers showing, then it won't work. The create group button is supposed to be SHIFT CMND G , but I do see it isn't working correctly on my system. I will have the programmers take a look.

There seem to be quite a bunch of them, as Wax has said. Fortunately for me, most I have found are in palettes I will never need. Each one I found that was broken, I fixed. (FWIW I have been using the actual fixed DP9 bindings, so there is no conflict there). I originally started documenting, but gave up and just fixed the hotkeys that we off. Sorry! Jamey, do you have a DP ravlay or two you could share with us, to see what you work with. Even melodyne stuff... hint hint And Jamey, on a sort of related note, I thought the buttons we create or rename were supposed to then show up as searchable. That does not seem to be the case here. I dont see all the ones I changed names on. Was there a step I am missing? What does the SAVE button do in the BC editor window?

The save button will make the BC's show up in your user quicklist.

Do you mean batch command buttons or the buttons that come are in the transport rack? Most of the preprogrammed BC's that use mouse don't work in DP...

Most of the preprogrammed BC's that use mouse don't work in DP... I can concur. A bit disorienting. Mouse goes bezerk sometimes. Flying across the screen left to right a thousand times. LOL

LOL They will work, just gotta have the correct windows showing. Check out the manual and quick start for how to setup.

Batch Commander for DP I don't normally use dp consolidated windows on the Raven monitor so the BC's are looking for things that are not there. It would be counter productive to have to put up a window to use a batch command. But once you get a static template mouse clicks on BC's are helpful. The other thing to overcome the dynamic architecture of dp is to do a selection then run the script on a BC. I have a few windows like the channel strip which is always set up in the same place. Automation on off and record works great. If I could get a dp mixer set up to stay static on the DP I could do more but the DP mixer won't stay in a locked position like other DAWs. That is fine with me. I prefer not having the template overlay like PT, Logic etc. The blue INS works great. Select channel and hit INS. Then use the next insert or previous insert button I got from Jamey Z. That is very helpful...

"It would be counter productive to have to put up a window to use a batch command. " This is how I think too Wax. What I am doing is having to edit all he BC's to have a first entry the required window, via hotkey. (i.e.: make Channel Strip the active window.)
Perhaps this could be included in future update Jamey?

The only problem i have with my brilliant idea Wax, is that i use window sets. So all was peachy till I switched window sets!!! LOL So i need to have the window set hot key as part of the initial trigger too, even if DP is already set to that window set.

Yes that is why I bailed on window sets. I had my system set up on 3 screens for years. TO and mixer on space center SE left...(I mouse left handed) far left keyboard controller for with 3rd monitor for VI's.... when the Raven showed up everything changed. TO center monitor above and behind Raven. VI monitor on left. No consolidated windows. I do save window sets. But I find myself using them just to get back to home base after I move windows around depending what I'm doing. I love moving an SE window down to work on tracks some touch some mouse. I've also started using ipad most of the time for BC's. i also have found I can hide the bundle screen, Project notes under the floating mixer. I use the floating mixer most of the time...
Now I could do everything with 2 Ravens. That will be my next step when I switch to a new Macbook Pro.
