I was hoping to either create an applescript or potentially hope that Slate would create an option to go along with the software where you could backup current Pro Tools Pref files for PT10,PT11 where you could then choose another pref's file to replace it with temporarily. Working out of multiple studios and wanting to bring the Raven with me is definitely something I hope to do. However, most commercial studios frown upon the Installing of outside software/extensions (unavoidable in the Raven's case) but especially changing of the Pro Tools Preferences. I think having a small program to temporarily replace the pref's with your own which have the Raven settings preconfigured along with a Re-Import of the replaced Pref's for when your done (to keep the other engineers happy) would be extremely helpful.
Taking that one step further: Have a program automate the installing of Raven software, importing a specified Preferences file for Pro Tools. Along with that a function to uninstall the Raven software and replace the Preferences file with the previously replaced one (user's choice) as to "clean up" before leaving a workstation.
Any of this possible?

Already have a script that sets up Raven. That is a great idea for changing the prefs folder I will take a look.
