Greetings,
My raven screen seems to have an intermittent issue where the screen will flash glitch, and occasionally the internal speakers will pop along with this. This happens with no daw or raven software being used, as well as, when in use. Problem did not occur at first and has been happening for about a week or so now. Has anyone else seen this happen, or have any incite as to what may be causing this? Seems like more of a hardware issue to me. Any input would be appreciated.
Thank you

Thank you Are you using some type of converter for the HDMI?? Can you try VGA instead? Can you try a different HDMI cable? Raven also has a volume controls on the back side so you can turn the speakers off..

The cable is a thunderbolt to HDMI. There is no VGA on my mac. I considered the cable, and will try replacing it, but it hasn't had a problem before nor have I changed the setup. I can try the volume control, but that would't fix the screen glitches that accompany the pop. Also, my concern would be if there is a hardware issue. As I type this the speakers popped and the screen flashed white noise. The screen glitches more than the pop, sometimes they coincide, and others the pop will just occur. I will replace the cable today and we will see.

I think the popping and the glitches is all part of the cable issue, as HDMI sends sound to the Raven. If you can get a VGA adapter you could try that instead of HDMI..

I've ordered a new cable to try which will be here shortly. The problem was occurring frequently, but now has been a couple of days since it has occurred. I haven't changed anything so maybe it's a startup procedure between the mac, apollo, and raven that may have caused it. I will update once I've tried the new cable, and hopefully the issue will not return.

Perhaps if it does come back, you can also try using a different power outlet, perhaps there is a ground loop somewhere between the computer and the screen.
