PT2021 has made this "Track Hack" a lot easier so here is quick video on how to get started. bearjamstudios was asking about how to make these fast track presets so we came up with the new workflow on our support session.

Hey Jamey... just messing around with this cool feature... I remember back in the annuls of my mind that there was a trick to getting Shift and other keyboard modifiers to work in the batch command. For example Shift R to place into record. When I have a track selected and Shift R it places the track into record, but when I place this command into the Batch command (as the last part of the Videos explanations process in the batch command creation) it's ignored.

That would probably mean it is being stolen from another key command mapped the System Preferences so the Batch Commander can't read it in.
