Has anyone written and be willing to share a "Rollback and Play" command for Protools?

Roll back how far? Or are you thinking Spacebar to stop and go back and then Spacebar to play again? Either way, that’s a pretty easy one to program. 👍🏻

Has anyone written and be willing to share a "Rollback and Play" command for Protools? I would program. 1. Spacebar 2. Numpad * (to open the timeline settings) 3. Cursor Down (goes back a bar if you are Bars:Beats) 4. Enter 4. Spacebar

Let me clarify. On some Protools controllers there is a dedicated button on the surface that when pressed gives a command to stop, rollback (the amount selected in Setup/Preferences/Operation-Back/forward amount, and then Protools goes back into play. This button is on the D-Control, D-Command and is in the Eucon commands called "Back and Play". Is there a way to access that command and assign it to a button on a layout? I use this all of the time when mixing and would love to have it on my Favorite toolbar.

Yeah, I think OPT CLICK the play button is "back and play" and there should be a quick list item that will actually send that click up to the transport. But I still think just programming the key commands would be easier... 1. Spacebar 2. Numpad 1 (rewind) 3. spacebar

Maybe I'm not explaining this correctly, but Eucon has a command for this. Maybe if you can take a look at that to see how they do it.

Jamie,
That is exactly what I was looking for. I didn't know that it was named in the Quicklist. Thanks
