From what I can see, recording is screen based. Can it be changed to window based? My edit window gets moved from time to time. Thanks,

OS 10.13.6
Also we're having a small problem with the new Raven 3.7.1 Raven seems to freeze and is unresponsive after the computer wakes from sleep. Can't force quit it either. Have to Reboot computer. Please advise. (well... beyond the obvious of don't let the computer sleep- which I will do for the time being) Thanks,

Wow, thanks for the prompt response, you answered in the middle of my edit to my last post I will ck out the Automator options. So now I understand that the built in raven record button records actions relative to the screen. BtW- we don't use the Mix window overlay thingy. Only the edit window and the floating Raven mixer. (someday I know you guys will make that floating mixer look and work like the PT mixer- It's got to be do-able you know)
Here's our other problem that I mentioned above, that you missed: Also we're having a small problem with the new Raven 3.7.1 Raven seems to freeze and is unresponsive after the computer wakes from sleep. I would suggest just shutting down the display from the back right of the Raven or using a screen saver. Otherwise, why not just shut down the computer and give it a break?

Thanks for the tips. Just sayin, this wasn't a problem yesterday before installing the 3.7.1. update. Allowing the screen to shut down seems to be okay. Shutting everything down just to keep Raven from crashing during computer sleep seems a bit extreme. Computer, USB ports, PT, and Logic all are fine after computer nap. Just Raven continues to nap in a Lunesta neverland.
