I may be going about this all wrong, but I am trying to combine existing batch commands as well as recorded batch commands I create. Example: I use the VMR Insert 1 command to insert the VMR on Insert 1 of my kick drum channel. I would like to do that as well as have it select the preset I use for the kick, so I created a mouse click recording of selecting the preset I want and add that to the VMR Insert 1 batch command. So far it doesn't seem to work, not sure if it's due to X-Y Axis issue or operator error or something else. Or maybe there's a better way to accomplish this task altogether. I would like to set up batch commands that I can use to speed up setting up drum inserts etc. with the plugin presets already selected. I must be getting lazy.... Thanks in advance to anyone who can offer advice on this. I am using Windows 10 and Cubase 10.5 Pro.

I think I would just save a kick drum channel preset in the Channel Settings, then make a Batch Commands that adds that preset to the select track

I had already created a preset both in VMR and in Cubase in the track presets. I just can't find a key command in the Cubase Key Commands to load the preset into the selected channel, so I'm not sure what to do to make the batch command. Thanks for any help.

It would take a few mouse clicks and searching. 1. CNTRL P 2. Click preset search 3. type in name of preset 4. Return

Thank you Jamey for getting back to me.
"It would take a few mouse clicks and searching.
1. CNTRL P
2. Click preset search
3. type in name of preset
4. Return"
Ctrl P opens the Audio Pool, so do you mean maybe Ctrl+Shift+O which brings up the Track Preset Browser? But I'm still not quite sure how to make the complete batch command. I know the Record button allows me to record mouse clicks but I'm guessing not typing. If there's a video to check out to help with this, I would be glad to watch it, or if there's a place in the manual although I couldn't seem to find anything in the 3.6 manual. I can always go old school, but I'm loving the workflow improvement possibilities with this.

Actually I am looking into these options in Cubase to save and load track presets.. Seems to be much easier then searching the big list of default presets that cubase has.

oh yeah, using the track save load in the mixconsole is the way to go.. I will try to make some Batch Commands for it.. But it would be..
1. Load Track Preset 2. Type in name of preset 3. Return.

Thanks for the info. I was able to create a few batch commands to work in my drum tracks setup that will save time for sure. I'm on Windows, so the commands for save selected and load selected are alt+shift+2 and alt+shift+1 respectively. I made batch commands to load channel settings for my kick and snare, as well as a batch command to prepare the drum tracks for export (levels, panning, etc.) I love it!

Here are two Batch Commands I made for Cubase windows, it will save and load presets.. I find it is best to start presets with 02 - 03 so they stay in order.. load preset 2.ravbc (1.56 KB) save preset 02.ravbc (1.56 KB)
