I am using two daws, Pro Tools and Cubase, I am using Cubase as a video slave.
Cubase works well in this regard, and outputs to my Blackmagic card. But upon opening both of course I get "too many Daws' error in Raven dashboard and can't proceed.
V-Control recognises Cubase at startup no matter what changes I make in Cubase settings. I'm guessing I'm stuck with this?
Video Slave 4 doesn't give me this problem however it means yet again another purchase when I already have a program perfectly capable of doing the same job.
Pro Tools has too many video engine errors and too fussy on mp4 video codecs.

Otherwise, just open RAVEN and Pro Tools first. Then once RAVEN is loaded open up Cubase..

Thanks Jamey, that was the obvious thing to try first and I did with the result Raven seemed to be all over the place as if it was working on both. However, I tried that start order again today from a fresh boot and it worked.
So easy after all.
