What new functionality does 3.6 bring to the ProTools user?

What new functionality does 3.6 bring to the ProTools user? “Dashboard” With the RAVEN 3.5 users had to keep UPDD, V-Control Pro, RAVEN, and the DAW all in sync. Now with the RAVEN Dashboard, all the apps can be accessed within the RAVEN. Calibrate, Configure, Gestures, Tutorials, and Manuals are all in one easy to find space. Simply open the RAVEN Dashboard and users can Launch the DAW and RAVEN and Calibrate in two buttons. “Dynamic Display Detection” now allows you to run the RAVEN on a non primary screen, so users can keep their iMac and large 4k Studio Monitors as the main display while running the RAVEN mixers and toolbars on another display. “Dynamic Gestures” now automatically detects the DAW and uses the correct gesture profile for the DAW, while automatically translating all the users key command to the open Application. Users can also set their own “default” gestures for the open application. “Pro Tools Mixing Layout” all of Steven’s favorite mixing Batch Commands in one layout for Single and Dual RAVEN on macOS and Windows. Instant plugin chains, audiosuites, and fader groups all in one RAVEN layout. “Favorite Floating Palette” Another great feature of RAVEN 4.0 is the Favorite Palette, this is a global panel that stays the same in all the layouts of the RAVEN. So grab all your favorite batch command panels and drop them in the Favorite Palette for easy access to these buttons across all the layouts.

Where exactly are the instructions for this "Favorite Floating Palette"? is there a 3.6 tutorial somewhere? Works the same as the other floating palette/toolbars, but anything you put in it will be global across all layouts. youtu.be/rJ91IWMroVk?t=1613

Not seeing it here on 3.6. Hit customize and you will see the button. Then drag it to fit some where in your custom layouts.

Jamey what’s the name of the layout that’s “Stephen’s Pro Tools Mixing” layout? Is that just accessed via switch layouts or needs to be imported?
Thanks!

So the reason I'm not seeing the "favorite floating palette" button is that it only shows on the default layout. Once I load my session it is not there. How do I import it?

Jamey, can you also talk a bit about the new CPU Speed setting?

Jamey, can you also talk a bit about the new CPU Speed setting? For users with really slow computers and graphics cards may want to run at medium. I find that when I have a super heavy session taxing my CPU on my old cheese grater I can run RAVEN at medium and don't have as much latency with the graphics.

The Favorite Toolbar is great, but for me it takes up too much space on the screen. I'm not able to reduce its size because there are some buttons permanently located in it, i.e. Customize Toolbar, Rack +-, Hide Raven. They're greyed out and can't be removed.
Also, I'd like to be able to use the Favorite toolbar to duplicate a panel into more than one BC layout. In the current functionality, if you move a panel from the Favorite Toolbar into a layout, you lose it in the toolbar, which means that you can't duplicate it across several Layouts.
Otherwise, the FT is a useful addition to BC functionality and I can imagine that it works well for many users.

OK - got it. I need to use the Quicklist to store my panels, and then load them into other layouts.

Did I see you mention Raven 4.0?

So grab all your favorite batch command panels and drop them in the Favorite Palette for easy access to these buttons across all the layouts....
Is it out ?!?!
Has it got the all time requested feature of creating as many user buttons as you like (or am I dreaming)
Nervously optimistic here....
