OK, it shouldn't be a issue on Yosemite. If you open that U PDD settings are any of the screens outlined in red??
Also are they set to monitor one and monitor two?
Lastly, do you have "displays have separate spaces" disabled in system preferences mission control??

I have the 3rd screen working well now. Using it for the time display and plugins. The only issue I am still having is the alignment of the Raven mixer. I have tried everything I can think of and remember reading about. Here is a screen shot, it looks aligned to me. Any suggestions? Raven Window Configurations Dual.ptx Something looks really off on the pictures, your faders look way above the Raven faders.. Option Click the "maximize button" also, Try dragging up your groups list in the tracks list, also try this Check out this article on how to easy sync Pro Tools and Raven using Window Configurations. slatemt.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/215813558-Pro-Tools-Internal-Mixer-AlignmentView AttachmentI have followed these steps you outline & it's not working. Pro tools won't save the window configuration for having the edit or mix window on the 2nd display. It always just flips the windows to the Raven & never to the 2nd non - Raven Monitor Any suggestions on how to fix this ?

Are you launching the window configuration after importing it??? Also, be sure hit UPDATE after moving the windows around.. It works really well over here.

I trashed pro tools preferences & upgraded to 12.5 & same exact problem! So frustrated with the Raven right now. I see the potential but as of yet I've wasted more time trying to configure it than actually use it to get mixes done faster

Try disabling "Displays have separate space" in system prefs mission control. Else, try moving the location of the 2nd monitor in the Display preferences. If you still need help please file a support ticket and we can setup a time to screen share help you get configured. slatemt.zendesk.com/hc/en-usThank you,

I am considering to purchase a second Raven MTi2 monitor, and I've been checking around to see how best to retain my current MacBook Pro + (3) external monitor configuration. My second Raven MTi2 monitor would replace my Apple Thunderbolt display, which just went to crap after only five years of use (thanks Apple... keep it up...). Currently, my setup is wired as follows: - Raven MTi2 -> MacBook Pro (Retina, 2012)'s HDMI port; MBP running OS X 10.10 (Yosemite); Raven MTi2's USB port connected to UBS hub - (crapped out) Apple Thunderbolt display connections: CAT-5e ethernet cable wired to 1 GB network router; USB port wired to external USB hub; Firewire 800 port wired into a FW 800-to-FW 400 adaptor with FW 400 terminating at my Focusrite Saffire 24 Pro DSP audio interface; Thunderbolt cable (the one physically tethered to the TB/power Apple Thunderbolt display cable and not the spare TB port on the display's back panel) physically connected to my MBP's first TB port - MBP's second TB port connected to my Pegasus R4 external RAID array - Pegasus R4 TB port daisy-chained to an external LaCie drive - LaCie drive daisy-chained to my Samsung SyncMaster 940Be external monitor, with the TB cable connected to a TB-to-DVI adaptor Before my Apple Thunderbolt display failed (again, many thanks, Apple for your expensive paperweight), I was running my MBP plus (3) external monitor setup without issue. Now, I am trying to figure out my best options, with one scenario based on replacing my Apple Thunderbolt display with a second Raven MTi2 monitor. There are certainly many other competing monitors that offer touch capability and/or significantly better resolution than the Raven MTi2. However, this scenario gives a high weighting to Raven MTi2 Batch Command DAW functionality, along with reduced eye fatigue by ensuring consistent screen resolution across the two Raven MTi2 monitors. Given this scenario, the slatemt.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/218510678-Using-a-Thunderbolt-HUB-to-support-connecting-a-Thunderbolt-DAW-Interface-with-Dual-Ravens hyperlink informs the need for a Thunderbolt 2 hub, and the web site at this hyperlink cites three brand/model options. Should I decide to exercise this scenario, then will the following physical configuration allow me to retain my MBP plus (3) external monitor setup? Proposed Configuration: - Connect one of the Thunderbolt 2 hub's TB ports to one of my MBP's TB ports - Connect first Raven MTi2 monitor's HDMI port to my MBP's HDMI port; connection its USB-C port to a USB-C port a USB-C port on the Thunderbolt 2 hub - Connect second Raven MTi2 monitor's HDMO port to the HDMI port on the Thunderbolt 2 hub; connection its USB-C port to another USB-C port on the Thunderbolt 2 hub - Retain my external drive plus Samsung external monitor TB daisy-chain connections. - Connection the Thunderbolt 2 hub's ethernet port to my network router - Connect my Saffire 24 Pro DSP audio interface's FW 400 port to the Thunderbolt 2 hub's FW 800 port using my existing FW 400-to-FW 800 adaptor. Of the three Thunderbolt 2 hubs cite at the aforementioned hyperlink, only the OWC Thunderbolt 2 hub has a FW 800 port. Otherwise, I will need a different adaptor to connect my audio interface (e..g, FW 400-to-USB-C or FW 400-to-thunderbolt; I consider the latter option a waste of thunderbolt connectivity and capability. Besides, I want to keep the second Thunderbolt 2 port available in the event I replace my current audio interface with a TB-2 compatible one.) Do you think this scenario is sufficient for operating a MBP (Retina, 2012) efficiently with (3) external monitors? Thank you for your feedback.

I don't know if this will help anyone with the 3rd monitor/display issue, but I found this workaround on you tube. I have my 2 Ravens connected via HDMI to mini display ports to separate mini display port busses on my Mac Pro 2013 (trash can). I have my 3rd display (27" Acer) connected via VGA to mini display port on the Mac Pro. since the 3rd connection isn't "digital" I don't have the conflict on the HDMI bus, and I set the resolution on the 3rd monitor to default and it works great. I just configured my Raven touch setup on the two Ravens and then the 3rd display as a non touch display. This works great for moving plugins to the 3rd monitor when needed and just use the mouse to make changes in parameters, and if you set it up as a window configuration in Pro Tools, the next time you call it up, it will appear on the 3rd display! Hope this may help someone, I yanked my hair out for quite a while until I found this method! Good luck!

I just setup my 2 Ravens this past weekend. I can tell once I learn the software, it's going to bring my studio experience to another level! The one thing I can't figure out. How to get a third, non touch panel working? I have a MacPro 2013 (6 core, dual D300 GPUs, 64 gigs of RAM), and Pro Tools 12.4. I have a 52" Samsung LCD I have been using for 8 years as my monitor. I still would like to have it on, it is on the wall behind my mixing desk where the Ravens are. I know all about the 3 Thunderbolt 2 busses that the Mac Trashcan has. At first I tried my external thunderbolt 2 hardrives (an OWC TB2 Chassis, a Lacie Little Big Disk and my UAD Apollos on bus 2. The 2 Ravens on bus 1 (mini DP to HDMI) and I have left bus 0 open, I'm not using either of the Thunderbolt connectors or the HDMI input. I have tried a mini DP to HDMI to the Samsung and a regular HDMI to the Samsung on bus 0. But either way I do it, if the Samsung turns on, 1 of the Ravens turns off?? Or the Samsung just won't see the Trashcan. I have tried every combination of ports and connectors I can think of (even HDMI to VGA for the Samsung) Are there any settings in Yosemite I should be changing to make this work? From my research, it seems like it should. All three screens are the same resolution 1920 X 1080 @60hz. Anyone have a similar setup that's works? Thanks

I’m using the same Mac Pro and dual ravens.
Mac Pro can only handle 2 hdmi Devices TOTAL. So what I needed to do was use the 2 hdmi from the ravens (connected with mini display converters) and then I had to use a VGA to mini display for my 3rd monitor. Works perfect.
Good luck!

Hello, is there a way to swap screen content between the MTi2 and a third party monitor ? Can we for example have the mixer on the Raven and the project window on the other non touch monitor and then make them switch so we get the project screen on the Raven and the mixer on the other monitor?

Absolutely, but it would depend on what DAW you are using.
