Hello!
As said in the title I have just bought a new PC and moved from OSX to Windows 10 and I have found a big issue which is the behaviour between touching screen and mouse control while using VMR, Air EQ and Audient ID software. Once I touch one of these programs on the screen I can't use the mouse anymore but touching doesn't quite work properly ie top bar options in Air EQ doesn't work with the touch, same in Audient ID, which means once the screen has been touched some options can't be clicked/touched to be used. It is very annoying since VMR is a great pleasure to use on Raven (at least on OSX)
I have seen this issue mentioned briefly in an older post but couldn't find anything more other than Slate staff saying If you touch screen mouse doesn't work
Could you please tell me a little bit more about this situation?
Is it a well known issue? What is the best work around? When will it be sorted?
Is it normal Gestures doesn't offer as many options on Windows 10?
Anything else I should know about using Raven on Windows vs OSX?
PS other than the touch/mouse control issue on some programs, overall experience with Raven is smoother on windows.
Sorry if this has been discussed before but I did look through the forum for recent posts regarding this issue
All the best thanks

However, you can change the UPDD touch mode from HID to Mouse to fix this issue, however this removes the Window Native Touch gestures. Open the UPDD settings from the system tray and switch the touch mode.

Don't hold your breath for Slate to fix this problem. I raised this issue over a year ago and was told it would be fixed in a couple of months.
Anyway thanks for the temporary fix, I wish you had of told me that in one of the hundred emails we exchanged.

Actually, the fix is to just change your mouse settings from HID to Mouse in UPDD settings.

Thank you!
Changing the UPDD from HID to Mouse solved the issue.
Can you please send me the link to the article mentioned in the new video "RAVEN 3.6 for Windows Cubase/Nuendo Quick Start" to get multitouch working with Windows Paint please? However if I understand correctly this means windows native multitouch should not work because of UPDD setting being Mouse instead of HID?
Also I have the Batch Commander behaving strangely. So I have done the Raven 3.6 update following the instructions in the previously mentioned video, and some Batch Commands Key Commands don't work when some do work properly. For Example in Layout 1, most of the commands in the "Create Tracks" Panel work except "Create Instrument track". Nothing happens when I press it however the key command work when I do it from my computer keyboard, which is the same used by the Batch Command which tells me I have the rights Key Commands installed. Similar things happen in the "Fader Focus" Panel: "Show all tracks" works fine but "Hide Selected Tracks" doesn't when the key command functions properly. None of the Batch Commands with Mouse recordings seem to work. For Example the "Transpose up" command stops with the mouse on the edge of the Transpose box on the info line. In the Panel "Slate Plugins - Project Window" none of the command work: The Channel Settings window opens then the project starts playing. I can see in the batch command that the key command for opening the Channel Settings window works but the following line, which is a stock recorded mouse move, doesn't happen then the following line is the key command space bar so the project starts playing.
Can you please help me making the stock Batch Commands work properly please? These are faults I have had since before the update.
Thanks

no multitouch in paint when I switch back to HID. If anyting the response is worse. Keyboard is set to QWERTY if I understand the question right? Windows is English (UK).
Many thanks

Many thanks I would do a clean un-install of UPDD to get your Window Native Touch back. Also, I think the "alt" key is in a different location on UK keyboard. We are working on adding a translator to offer support for all keyboards types.
