YOu're limited to 10 slots (typically 5 insert and 5 sends) on the Mti, but 15 on the MTX and I suspect 15 on the Mtz

That seems like a Pro Tools-related thang. Do the other DAWS have the same limitation?
With Pro Tools. is that because the software config provided with the 27" MTI is like that, or is it simply because you are required to set up Pro Tools that way?
What about for other Daws.... any limitations betwixt the 27" and 43" models?
The reason I ask is that I have a 42" touchscreen system, and and really only need the software -- but if I have to buy a whole Raven system, could I not buy a 27" MTI, and use the software with MY touchscreen?
(I am planning to use Studio One, and even with Pro Tools, I usually only show 10 slots for plugins anyway.)

What about for other Daws.... any limitations betwixt the 27" and 43" models? We always go for the standard 100mm faders so it's similar to mixing on a console. If users have too many insert racks showing in PT the RAVEN faders would no longer be 100mm. This is not an issue in other DAWs as they treat their insert racks differently. However, we are working on support for 15 insert racks on MTi's as well. > YOu're limited to 10 slots (typically 5 insert and 5 sends) on the Mti, but 15 on the MTX and I suspect 15 on the Mtz The reason I ask is that I have a 42" touchscreen system, and and really only need the software -- but if I have to buy a whole Raven system, could I not buy a 27" MTI, and use the software with MY touchscreen? The software will only work on RAVEN touch screens, so you will not be able to run a 3rd party touch screen with the RAVEN software.
