Scalable UI – Today's high-resolution computer displays have very small pixels, making things tiny and hard to see. In DP10, you can now simply press command-plus and command-minus (control-plus and control-minus on Windows) to scale DP's entire UI larger or smaller to achieve the perfect degree of clarity for your eye.

You're not bringing up the best part! With the fact that DP allows you to show and hide various parts of the Mixer window, between that and the floating Raven mixer you should be able to line up DPs tracks and the Raven perfectly! No need for some skeleton mixer element like Slate does with Logic etc. Hopefully like you mentioned at Motunation MOTU are more fully following Mackie spec and allowing the Raven to 'unsee' hidden tracks in DP's Mixer. Anyway, if I can ever figure out how to get the Ravely to open up with only one Rack I will be a happy camper. Between this and VCA faders DP becomes a mixing powerhouse again.

Has anyone confirmed show/hide tracks over Mackie Protocol is working? I think JamieZ needs to chime in and give us the skinny on no need for a skinny mixer and any other DP integration with Raven. It seemed very weird to me the last 6 mos there was zero feedback on DP Raven integration. Now it looks like they knocked it out of the park... I'm glad MOTU seemed to come to Raven rather than a different Raven mixer just for DP... that would have been Frankenstiened quickly... OK JZ... you can come out and play now

I'm pretty sure the quote function on this forum is hosed, at least in Safari. So is this you waxman or toodamhip?? I dunno, I like Slate, but like most companies they chase the shiny coins. Hard to say why Raven development isn't running full blast.. They have a brand new 40+ inches they put out hopefully that means some updates to the software are a possibility.
Doesn't really matter though now with scalable GUIs. Hopefully there isn't any coarse jumping in the scaling that gets the Mixer in DP close, but still off by 5 pixels or some such nonsense. I like to think developers notice things like this and pay attention, but experience says otherwise. Regardless, it's still going to be much much closer to perfect than it is now!

It seems like with the gui sizing option in DP so much of the workarounds are unnecessary. Having a floating channel strip and some of the batch commands along with some other hoops I jump through. Seems the touch factor might go way up. I still don't see a channel color option but that goes pretty quick and once it's done it will work for the life of the project. Jamey would there be a way to select a group of channels and put a color into the pic spot on the bottom of the channel strip on the Raven for those channels? Also is could you ask the guys to add color to the floating mixer? So if we put a color swatch in on the Raven it shows up on the Floating mixer. But it might be possible to just put the floating mixer right above the DP channel strip color swatch... I guess we will see end of Feb. Hopefully, this solves most of the economic issues

I'm not sure what you're thinking about doing with the set up Waxman, but I'm thinking remove faders, pan solo mute etc., fader meters etc, all the things the Raven floating mixer gives you, and leave the rest, which also includes a color strip, which would be in this case right in the middle over the fader if! the resizable GUI can perfectly match the Raven floating mixer!

If you remove the Pan solo mute you lose automation correct? I am also thinking since the floating mixer is one button just leave the whole DP mixer up. Then put the floating mixer over the top above the color strip. I've found when I'm doing that even now I end up doing a lot of touch on the DP gui. if it sizes correctly that will be amazing. The sizing looks like it jumps so it might not be a continuous thing. They have separate image files for each size that may mean it's an issue to perfectly match the Raven FM... But you would think if they are variable presets one would be a 24 channel layout. So that would match the floating mixer pretty close if not perfect... We will see. It would be great if the colors on the big Raven slots would transfer to the floating mixer. I'm sure we will need some workarounds but it seems like we are 90% closer... is this pic what you're thinking?

Yep pretty much, but you cane take out just the faders if you want etc. It's all really dependent on DP10. looking like late Feb is the ship date they say..
