I have a question on the best way to keep my workflow as smooth and close to what it was as possible, but with 2 MTi2s I have always used a board for my headphone mixes. Right now it is a Presonus SL32AI. I have a Mac Trashcan, PT12HD, 2 Apollo 16s and an Apollo 8P, (all thunderbolt 2) I run out of those units to the board. From there I just use the pre fader auxes to send clients their individual headphone mixes. One client is a Gospel ensemble that requires up to 10 different mixes. (Most of the time, my full band sessions are between 4 and 6 mixes) Now, the board is definitely out of the question with my new setup because of space constraints. I did purchase 12 channels of Presonus HP60 headphone amps for what I believe can be 10 total headphone mixes from PT12HS? Since I've never used PT for headphone mixes before, that is what I am assuming from what I know. Anyone have a similar setup that could give me some advice? I have been recording for almost 20 years, but always had a board (whether it was from 1" 16 track, 2" 24 track, ADAT, ect) for my headphone mixes. I think it comes from being a FOH and monitor tech as well.
This might seem like a simple question, but I want to have a good idea of what I'm doing before I reconfigure my studio desk, and setup the Ravens. Thanks for any help in Advance!

You can absolutely mix from the sends mode in Raven. However there are only 5 sends available for multi touch at the moment in pro tools. Sends A-E. Meaning to control sends F-j you would be on single touch or the mouse..
Keep these pre fader and send their aux outs to the outputs of your D/A to the headphone amps.. Or can send to a bus fader and send the bus output to the D/A. This way you have a "master" for each HP mix.
Then the second MTI will be the edit window where you can open up the "floating mixer" to get your Main mix going.

Thanks Jamey! I didn't know about the sends F-J, but the few times I will be using that many hp mixes, single touch will be fine. Now I just have to find the time to reconfigure my workspace!
