I have been trying to create my own batch command keys by recording mouse clicks but can't get them to execute.
I click Record, click the things I want to happen, Click record again, Title and save, then load from the quick list and click confirm.
Any ideas? Or obvious things I could be missing?
Thanks

Are you on 10.8.5? Or are you holding down a modifier with the click?

Yeah Mountain Lion.
Yeah thats what I am doing.
Even when I try and create the exact same Batch Command button using the record feature that the guy does in the quick start video still nothing. The button is created and when I click it, it says stop for a second like it is executing, but nothing ever happens.

The recording doesn't work in Mountain Lion, you will need to drop in a special folder into the Raven App. Download the file and instructions here.. drive.google.com/file/d/0B_8bhs8PmXlbMTVrNjhYRDFnWWM/viewSend me an email and we can do a screen sharing session if this is too complicated..

I'm having the same issue in Yosemite. Is it the same fix ? Yosemite should be fine. Have you tried recording a simple click, like click the play button?? If you hold any modifiers down while recording the click that will cause it not to fire.. I have seen a bug where it thinks there is a modifier so it doesn't fire the click. Sometimes restarting works. you can check your recordings here.. /Users/name/Library/Application Support/Slate Media Technology/Raven MTi/Python/ProTools/Dual/PT11 then you can delete the line that has the blank modifier.

I haven't used any modifier keys. Just trying to record mouse clicks - for instance : Menu, drop down, open Quantize window. When I stop the recording ,the dialog window opens: - Name
- Click save
- Go to user list
- Select BC
- Save
- Confirm
- Press BC button
- The mouse moves to menu then stops

send me an email and I can take a closer look at the script it is recording. Have you tried restarting??? For quantize stuff though, I would check out the Ravpan Quicklist for the quantize panel and start from there. Just hold down the panel name on an 8 panel to get to this list. The BCs are unpacked in there so you can mix and match.

Hello I too am on 10.8.5 and am not able to record mouse clicks. I'll try this tomorrow and see if it solves the issue. Thanks for that ! I also came across a few batch commands not working properly like the clear inserts A-E. When touched you can see the mouse moving and menus poping but when its finished inserts are still there and nothing has changed... It's like the mouse isn't clicking in the right spot or something. Maybe it's related to the previous issue with Mountain Lion and the ability to record (and then maybe execute properly) mouse clicks ? I don't know if it's related but when I first installed and launched the software it wouldn't align correctly on the screen. I would touch some button and then another was activated elsewhere, the lower rack was half hidden on the bottom on the screen etc. I solved this by moving the dock from the bottom of the screen to the right hand side. Normal ? I use ProTools 12.5.2 by the way Thanks for your time

The UPDD Settings may not be set to the correct screen, be sure to set to Monitor 1 or select "Whole" and then hit "configure all" for it to automatically setup. slatemt.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/216194688-Multiple-display-setup-issues-Raven-Touch-Controlling-another-screen

The mouse should be clicking the 1st Track inserts. Perhaps the tracks list isn't aligned with the red line on the Raven?? Yes I'm using the mix window when doing this one. The mouse does click on the first insert and the plugin selection menu pops up. Then I see things moving like they should (also it's a bit fast to see what is actually selected during the moves) and repeat for each insert as it should but the inserts are no removed in the end. Nothing changed as if it didn't do anything. The red line is perfectly aligned so I don't think it's the source of the problem. Yes the dock is on auto hide and the raven is the only display I am using on that computer.
