Is it possible to use the Raven MTi in conjunction with another controller (in my case a SmartAV Tango).

I took a quick look at the manual, and the control surface setup looks a bit different than HUI, so I think this would work with Raven and Logic.
Although it is impossible for me to say 100% since I have no way to test... But I don't see why it would block V-Control from talking to Raven..

Hi Ken,
I would recommend demoing a RAVEN with a system specific like that before buying. Since the AV Tango is no longer in production it is difficult for us to do compatibility testing. If there are issues we will be unable to support them. I am unsure about operation with Logic, but it will NOT work with Pro Tools.
Kind Regards,

Thanks for the replies. I ran a test and confirmed that I am able to run Apple Logic remote on an iPad, which I believe operates on OSC, at the same time as my SmartAv Tango controller. If Apple Remote works via OSC, is it feasible to think that Raven may work as it runs on the same technology?

Yet another reply to my own post, but hopefully this will be helpful to others:) Using Logic Pro X I was able to install the V Pro software and the V Pro Control iPad app and it worked flawlessly in conjunction with my SmartAV Tango controller. Both surfaces worked at the same time. The Raven videos say that it uses V Pro Control, so maybe there is hope that the Raven will work side by side with other HUI controllers like my SmartAV Tango setup. I realize it is still unsupported, but I think that it may be worth ordering a Raven to test it.
