Hello! Quick automation question on Logic 10.1 with the MTI -
When in "touch" mode in the Raven mixer, I can obviously grab faders and have them write whatever moves I want, but when I let go, it takes about a second or second and a half before it snaps back where the automation was sitting originally. I have checked my automation preferences and have ramp time set to 10ms and snap offset to -5ms (which is the default and what I used to have with my Euphonix MC Mix and it snapped just fine). Are there any settings that anyone recommends so it snaps faster? Or is it perhaps a 10.1 bug since it's all pretty new?
Thanks!

I am noticing like a 2 second response time before it snaps back into place.. But when using the regular fader it is instant..
We will look into this..
thanks

Cool - good to know it's not a system specific problem. Yes, regular fader is instant here as well, so just happening on the Raven mixer.
Thanks as always!

Hey Jamey, possibly related question - I'm noticing that as I'm riding automation on the Raven mixer I get "drop outs" so that when I look at the drawn automation in the main window you get these little spikes that jump back to where automation was previously (so either up or down) and then back to where my finger was on the fader while riding (this is using touch mode). I don't think it's hardware related because don't have the same problem in the PT internal or external Raven mixer, just Logic - part of the same bug perhaps?
Thanks!

Hello ootermind,
Thank you for your patience in this response. We reported this issue to Logic developers about six months ago. The issue is specific to a large number of control surfaces interacting with Logic Pro X. They have recognized the issue and informed me that they have been working on a repair for the future. We will continue monitoring the updates progressively.
Thank you,
