Hello! I was just wondering when a more finalized version of the raven software will come out? I know it's still in beta form right now. Thanks Eric

Also will the raven software be used with Logic Pro 9?

Hi Eric,
The new software for the Raven will be available on June 27th. We are uploading a new Raven video today detailing this information. We are only offering Raven support for Logic X at this time. Thanks.

I just downloaded Raven MTi 2.0 software and loaded all software in order, but on trying to install Ney-Fi within the dmg, it says that the file is corrupt and can't be loaded. I tried to install Ney-Fi from their website and launch Logic X. Upon launching the Raven MTi 2.0 software, it just stops and hangs up on "connecting to Ney-Fi". Can anyone help? I tried to re-download the Raven MTI 2.0 software, but the link is no longer active.

I just downloaded the update, removed all previous installations of ney-fi, multi touch platform, and raven for both pt 10 and logic x. Then I installed the update, I also got something saying ney-fi was corrupt and may not install properly, but I installed it and it seemed fine. Then when I opened Logic, ney-fi was running, I opened the raven software, selected logic x as my daw, then clicked ok. It looked like it was doing something but wouldn't open. I tried force quitting and trying again, tried restarting my computer, but I still get the same thing.

Any idea will the fix for Logic be posted? And will it support the batch commands implemented in Pro Tools?

Hi Bill, We plan to take RAVEN for Logic out of beta this week. A Batch Command system to implement in Logic is currently in development.

We plan to take RAVEN for Logic out of beta this week. A Batch Command system to implement in Logic is currently in development. Thanks for the Logic fix!!! In addition to Batch Commands, will you be implementing a Nav Pad for Logic as well? That's the one thing I miss besides Batch when going back and forth between using Pro Tools and Logic. Thanks. Hi Steelwill, We are working on creating a custom RAVEN layout including the zoom key commands native to logic, however using two fingers to scroll is already implemented. Vertical and horizontal zooms can be set up by making your own batch commands. Hope this helps Kind Regards, — Trevor Fedele Executive Assistant / Technical Assistant Slate Media Technology // Slate Digital LLC trevor@stevenslate.com

Hi Folks - I just got my MTI, I am running Logic Pro 9 on a Mac Book Pro, Mavericks, and every time I launch Ney-Fi then Logic Pro 9 and then launch the Raven Logic, the Raven Logic does not come on but instead tells me to turn on Logic X First ? Do I need to get Logic Pro X ? or will this run on Logic Pro 9 ? Thank you in advance for your time and knowledge.

Hi Manmix99, RAVEN compatibility can be found on our product page www.slatemt.com/products/raven-mti/. Logic 9 is not a supported DAW. Kind Regards, — Trevor Fedele Executive Assistant / Technical Assistant Slate Media Technology // Slate Digital LLC trevor@stevenslate.com

Hi Studio Belvedere,
This is something we are working on. Due to Logic's architecture it is a bit more difficult to integrate mouse clicks. We will be updating Logic with some new Batch Commands in the near future. Stay tuned for updates.

Trevor,
Thanks for the consideration- I think it'd be "another" selling point for the MTi/MTX. The more customization the better.
Also-
How is the Garageband build coming? Over at Gearslutz I asked Steven about it and if I recall correctly there is a somewhat of a build for the version. I know it is not a priority with Sonar/Cubase/Performer et al but it is in every installed Mac. That is a market- just ask U2! Ha...
