hi, for some reason I can't get the Raven software to work with Logic on My Macbook Pro. My MTI works fine as a touch screen, but as soon as I start the Raven software, Logic virtually freezes. I get the spinning multicolored wheel of death. There is fader response but anything related to transport controls only reacts after 20-30 seconds. As if the processor is crippled by the software, which is it isn't. The only thing I can do is force quit the Raven software and then force quit Logic.
The newest Raven Software update did nothing to remedy this.
My system:
Macbook Pro 2.6 Ghz Intel Core i& 16 GB RAM video card: Intel Iris Pro OSX 10.9.4 Logic Pro 10.0.7
Please help.

I think I have had this problem before. I think it was NEY-FI was out of date. Try the newest ney fi.

Hi Jef, Jamey Z is correct it sounds like a ney-fi issue. When updating please be sure install all of the newest applications we provide. Dig into the read me files also. If your issue is not resolved please contact me via email and I am more than happy to address this issue further.

I have just received my mti and have exactly the same issues using logic I spent several hours on it last night and have written to customer services I downloaded neyfi and all the other software direct from my user account so assume it's the latest version
It would be helpful if slate issues an idiots guide to setting up as well as the manual so that users don't have this frustration Am keeping fingers crossed that this is easily remedied
Thanks

Hi guys,
I too have downloaded the latest version of both multitouch, neyfi and raven, have installed it all, but the freezing continues as soon as raven software is started and you push any button whatsoever...
Kinda clueless here. Have the MTI for almost a month and have not been able too use Raven at all...

Thanks jeff I contacted customer services who have been very quick to respond emailed me some pointers and offered support so I will have a video call later in the week I wonder if it would be with posting some helpful hints and tips for us logic users please as we seem to be having similar teething problems For example in the email response I had they mentioned disabling / removing any then interfaces that are showing in the logic preferences Just might be worth posting an idiots Setup guide for us Regards

So I called customer services from the uk Incredibly helpful and friendly and had me up and running in just a few minutes Main issue was that I needed to delete other v controllers within logic advanced controller preferences
Also showed me how to set raven as my main display and the mirroring options
Have been really impressed with overall helpfulness
Thank you Mark

With some disappointment
I put in another call to the customer services team for some more queries
1: the pan and insert controls in the raven software don't link to logic
This is apparently a known issue and will be fixed at some point which I find disappointing as these are fairly important functions - can anyone at slate please resolve this urgently
2: the batch commands can't be programmed with mouse clicks - again apparently this is known so will be solved at some point . What was confusing to me was that I was trying to folllow the downloadable guide but some of this doesn't work in logic
3: the known issue that fgx doesn't work in logic x
So a plea to the fantastic raven team ........: please can you bring logic up to the same spec as for pro tools users or tell when this will happen
Slightly disappointed that some or the basic functions such as pan and insert don't work - help

Hi Musicmanneo,
1. Please contact me: trevor@stevenslate.com, I believe the issue may be something on the system you are working on.
2. We are working on breaking into the mouse clicks, due to Logic's architecture we cannot implement the same system we use with Pro Tools so it is taking some extra time, however it is being worked on as we speak.
