I am trying to create a batch command that does the following: - Color select tracks
- Create Group
- Name Group
- Assign a letter to the Group (i.e. 'g' for guitars, 'd' for drums, etc.)
- Route selected tracks in the group to a specific bus
So far I have figure out how to do use batch commands to do steps 1 - 3 above, but I cannot figure out how to a ssign a specific letter to group and then route all the tracks in the group to a specific bus.
Is there a way to do this?
Also is it possible to add/delete selected tracks from a pre-existing group?
Thanks!

Really cool idea..
So I just programmed a new mouse click to select the Group ID and the VCA so we can create batch commands based off these.
I will install them in the next update for BCer, but if you want I can show you how to install.. (hit me up on Skype :vintagesynthaddict)
I wish there was a way to just select some tracks and pull them from the group, but it doesn't seem possible since the group window doesn't say what tracks are selected..
if you want to route the tracks to a specific bus you could use.
1. Show Selected Tracks 2. Click Output 3. BUS 4. CURSOR RIGHT 5. DRUMS 6. ENTER 7. Restore Previous Tracks

I tried to route tracks to a specific bus using the steps you described above but couldn't find some of the commands, namely 'CURSOR RIGHT'. I'm also not sure if I have the right 'BUS' command. This is a screenshot of what I had...needless to say it didn't work!

BUS ELECTED TO DRUM AUX.ravbc (945 B) or just import this into your user folder.. It looks like you used "click send output" which needs a send window open to work.. Then you would decided where to move the send. The other quick list you used was "bus selected tracks to new aux" that would make a brand new aux for the selected tracks.. Also instead of typing "move cursor down" just actually hit the "cursor down" button on your keyboard and register that as a key command..Just hit "key command" and hit the right arrow.. will give you "cursor right"

Hey Jamey. Thanks for this. I'm working through it right now.
Just wondered if it'd be possible for you to either walk me through how to assign group ID or maybe there's already a batch command for it?
Also a quick question...if I plan on bounced stems using batch commands, is it better to assign the first group id's to the various stems so that the batch command works properly?
Thanks!

Will try to get group id's in the update coming out soon.. For now you'll will have to do by hand.. Or hit me on skype later and I can install for u
For stems I think it will be a little easier to have main stems first then individual..
A. Inst b. Acapella C. Main mix D. TV E. Drums F. Music G. BG's H. Lead vocal
Then program a BC for 8 groups and use correct naming..
