Hey, I know this isn't a 'show your setup" post, but can you guys who own the Core Station furniture tell me, how heavy a bookshelf monitor do you think you could sit safely on that shelf?
Would 50lbs JBLs be safe?
thanks in advance

wwittman, I haven't tried it myself, but if I had room I'm pretty certain that I could lay my body across the top shelf, so I imagine it could hold a pair of 50lb monitors without breaking a sweat. But I think you'd want to make sure that they wouldn't vibrate off and fall into your displays.

Thanks. I think we’d make sure they can’t “travel”!

We bought this place in August 2019 as the other studio owner built a new place. We have a drum room and a live room....I went with the Core station, running Pro Tools Ultimate...HD I/O... Pre's are Manley Force 4 channel, Universal Audio 4 channel: These two pre's take care of the 8 channel on drums.... Then I have a 6176 Pre/Comp for vocal and then a 2610s Universal I use for bass and guitars. Everything going through a patch bay so I can have any input going to any pre. Been very pleased with the space. I ended up going with a pc so not having all the luxury the mac guys are with the Raven. We are located in Branson, Mo

There shouldn't be any different between mac and pc now with RAVEN 3.7...

I recently switched to Ravens MTi2 from a C24. I had one Raven for about a month, and I quickly realized I really needed two! Chris Ishoy Flying Rock Studios Attachments:

I figured it out. You can save button sets and load them elsewhere.
