I have a large orchestral template running in Logic Pro X and have just dowloaded Batch Commander and the iPad app. I would like a way of simply soloing each of my grouped stems (brass/strings/woodwinds etc..) on the fly. This is surely a very simple command to do but for the life of me I can't work it out.
Can anyone help please?
Many thanks
Harry

I should clarify that I have organised my instruments in various summing stacks. If I want to solo each summing stack, I simply click the solo button on the summing track channel strip. This is essentially what I am wanting to achieve but with the buttons on the iPad app so the process will be much quicker on the fly.
I still want the ability to be able to solo each individual instrument within the summing stack though. I think I am correct in saying that if I create a "group" on Logic, clicking solo on one instrument track, solos them all? So that is not an option for me.
Any help will be well received!

There is a few ways to do it. Here is how I did it back in the day.

Thanks Jamey, but this doesn't quite do what I want. In your method in your video, it shows and hides the groups, which is fine (I don't particularly want to do this). But then the only way to bring back all the groups is to press each of the other groups until you have a full arrangement again. All I want is a very simple 'solo' like button for each of my summing stacks. eg. a "strings" button, which when pressed, solos the strings. When pressed again, unsolos them. Easy!
Is that doable?
Thanks again!!!
