I often get sessions where they send me stems or track exports to mix. Often there are several things I have to do to get them ready. There are 2 main in things I am looking to automate:
1. Sometimes my clients have exported in such a way that I have all stereo interments separated onto mono tracks... so I create stereo tracks and move the 2 mono tracks over to the new stereo track. When I move the stems over I then have to rename the track to match the clip. Is there a "Copy region/Clip name to Track Name" batch command? If so, what is it called? If Not, what is the formula to make one? (Ideally I would select the tracks that I wish to be renamed to match clip/region names and the BC would only affect those tracks)
2. After I import the audio, there are often large amounts of silence on each track. I manually go through track by track and strip silence with my own setting (threshold -73 db, Strip Duration 500ms, Clip Start and end pad 350ms) I can't select all tracks at once because it would attempt to do them as a group with the same settings on each track... is there a BC that can go track by track and apply this strip silence function with my settings? (Ideally it would only perform the strip silence on whatever tracks I select in the edit window)
Any help would be incredibly appreciated. Thanks!

You will need to hold down OPT on the keyboard then use Raven for touch... We are working on a fix for this.. Also, some other modifiers may not work also.. There is a cool app called Key Up that will work for Raven. slatemt.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/218129848-Modifier-Keys-not-working-with-MTi2

Hey jamie, You mentioned this process for copy region name to track name... but I cannot program SHIFT ONTRL CMND no matter how many times I try... it just doesn't work as a combination in Batch commander. I can do almost any other combo... but not that. Can you double check your steps below and if they are correct perhaps you could save them as a preset and export them so I can import them? I've spent over an hour trying to make this work... but it isn't. Thanks in advance! Jon Copy Region Name To Track Name 1. CMND SHIFT R (500 MS DELAY) 2. CMND C (500 MS DELAY) 3. Enter (500 MS DELAY) 4. SHIFT CNTRL CMND \ (500 MS DELAY) 5. CMND V (500 MS DELAY) 6. Enter (500 MS DELAY)

Then you can CMND V to copy the name of the playllist . You can just use the Default Quicklist version "copy region name to clipboard and paste in duplicate" else here is the BC COPY REGION NAME TO DUP P-LIST.ravbc (1.12 KB)
