I have started making the switch over the holidays from 2013 Trash Can to a New 2017 MB pro 15 with Touch strip... I bought a Landing Zone docking station but it won't be here for a couple days. I can't get the second Raven to show up using the Type c to TB2 then to a TB to HDMI... I am pretty sure that is the issue. I don't have a TB 3 to HDMI. Anyone know of any issues using dual Ravens with the MacBook Pro 2017? Landing Zone Dock

Anyone know of any issues using dual Ravens with the MacBook Pro 2017? That sounds like to many converters. I have run Dual Ravens on Stevens 2017 macbook but I had 2 USB-C to HDMI converters. They also have USB on them as well as a thru port for another USB-C. Both MTi2's are working great with the Landing Zone hub, but having some trouble with the software. Laptop is on the left of the Dual Ravens. When I put it in that position in the System Preferences Display the BCS comes up on the laptop. I've tried factory setting and a few other things. It will work on the right in sys prefs "Display" but sometimes the Floating mixer comes up on the laptop. I have tried moving in every position on sys prefs and even building from a blank template. How do I fix that? JameyZ thanks for all you do and have Merry Christmas.

I have tried moving in every position on sys prefs and even building from a blank template. How do I fix this? Did you set the RAVEN as the main display in system prefs??? Also, the Raven should be the Left most display if you want windows to open correctly on it, perhaps you can put the laptop "Above" the RAVEN in the system prefs. The problem with setting anything to the left is that it now lives in a negative X axis which will confuse all your applications. Else, it probably has to do with your adapters and connectors not reporting the correct X/Y axis of the main display to the GPU. What type of connectors are you using? Are you sharing buses perhaps? Most Mac models with two Thunderbolt ports only have one Thunderbolt bus, which means the two Thunderbolt ports share bandwidth and this can cause issues with multiple display setups. Since the Raven needs to be the main display by default, users may prefer to have other applications open on a different monitor than the Raven. To utilize all of Mac OSX display features with your Mac check out this article on how to setup spaces and desktops and force apps to open on each. slatemt.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/115012022007-Mac-OSX-Spaces-Desktops-Using-Multiple-Monitors-with-the-Raven

The CPU is an new MB pro with TB3 and USBc type connectors... It's not the end of the world to put the laptop on the far right if the Ravens need to be left most. I may just do that and avoid the confusion. However here is the particulars. I am using a docking station called Landing Zone. Landing Zone Docking Station for Touch Strip MBpro 2017It has 2 HDMI outs and those are going to the Ravens. I am using a USB 3.0 hub that is powered to go to the Ravens however I could go directly into the Landing Zone USB3s. Yes the white bar is over the Raven on the Raven so it is set as the Main Display. So you recommend MacBook Pro on the right of the set up... I also set it up with the MBPro in the middle between the two Ravens and it seemed to hold the order and work correctly... But from what you are saying looks like it's going to the right of the Ravens. I'll get used to it. Thanks Jamey. Let me know if you think of anything else that could be going on.

Things are now working with Laptop located on far right and in the sys pref on the far right... 2 minor problems remain.
1) After I shut down and restart Ravens comes up in swapped location. The fix is open Sys prefs / display / and move display and white menu bar to left Raven. 2) If I use the swap on the BCS windows the floating mixer then appears on the laptop which is on the far right.
One clue is when I do the F3 (function key) to see spaces it shows laptop as display #2 when it should be 3 according to order of left to right. At any rate it's workable now. Any ideas?

How do I fix this? thanks Sounds like the hub or something is booting up after the other display. Or its just the graphics prefs aren't saving. I would try a P.R.A.M and SMC reset. support.apple.com/en-us/HT201295support.apple.com/en-us/HT204063

Thanks Jamey I will try that. The prefs started holding after shut down when I gathered displays to the laptop with the right configuration and then closed sys prefs. When I close sys prefs from the Raven screen it comes back switched.

It takes a few putting things in place and then restarting for Raven's to stay where they belong. Most often after shutdown the second Raven swaps with the one on the left. When I change the order in the apple sys display prefs then the floating mixer comes up on the far right Macbook Pro laptop screen. That is fixed by quitting and restarting Raven. Any clues what to do now?

What would cause the BC racks to come up switched? The only way I can fix it is to recalibrate... When I start up I have to reset the order of display. Then I open Vcontrol, DP and then Raven. The Raven comes up with the BC racks switched. So if I push "play" button on the left rack it actually activates a button on Right hand screen BC rack... Whats up with that?
