Howdy...
I've been having issues with the MTi2 randomly moving the mouse cursor around. It usually happens within the first hour of powering things up. I've found that when this happens I can fix things by unplugging the MTi2's USB cable from my MBP, wait a couple seconds, and then plug it back in and then things behave after that. Typically when this erratic behavior occurs I'll have been away from my studio desk and then when I return to the room the mouse cursor will be jumping all over the place, random new folders will have been made on my desktop, etc. It gets crazy.
Is there a fix for this? Is this a common issue? Driver related?
I'm on a 2011 MBP (Model ID 8,3), running latest OSX 10.12.6.
Any help would be much appreciated!
Todd

Todd Is the USB plugged directly into the computer or a hub?? If a hub try to plug direct into the computer, or if you are direct into the computer please try a different port. If that doesn't help, please try a different USB cable, as I have seen some USB cables not have enough power to power the touch screen.

I'll try using a shorter USB cable by itself and report back on how that goes. If it is a power issue then having an extra long run of USB cable could have an impact on things. Thanks for helping out!

Quick follow-up here. Since removing the USB extension cable things have been solid with the MTi2. No more glitchy behavior. Things are back to normal and reliable. I'll definitely need to look into a USB booster as well (any suggestions on brands to favor or avoid?) Thanks for the help Jamey!
