How do I setup gestures on Windows 10 for Pro Tools? I have updated to v.3.3 w/V-Control Pro. All the gestures videos are mac specific. Nearly a year after purchase I have still been unable to integrate any of the features into my workflow. Pretty much been a useless but great looking monitor.

Nearly a year after purchase I have still been unable to integrate any of the features into my workflow. Pretty much been a useless but great looking monitor. Since Window Native Touch already has a couple gestures in it already and Windows app can assign their own gestures too, it is very hard to overwrite these and add our own. So at this time we only support Gestures for the MTi2 on OSX. We are working hard on getting gesture support for MTi1 and MTX users on OS X and Windows. If all goes well, the next Raven update will come with gesture support for all Raven versions.

I've found an app called tablet pro that will add pinch to zoom. It's a temporary solution. Personally I begrudgingly installed high sierra on my machine using the Tonymac site. I7 7700, gigabyte 270 g3 mobo, works great but updd looses connection upon hours of inactivity.. Here's a demonstration video of pinch to zoom in Windows 1drv.ms/v/s!Ar80It16zN5GhOkIQKBdDx1hNIfx7g

If it is disconnect that sounds like a USB power issue. Is the USB plugged directly into the computer or a hub?? If a hub try to plug direct into the computer, or if you are direct into the computer please try a different port. If that doesn't help, please try a different USB cable, as I have seen some USB cables not have enough power to power the touch screen.

It does work great on high sierra. I think your right about the power issue. I think its a result of the hackintosh, maybe a bios setting i missed.

honestly, without the gestures feature, what is really the advantage of using an MTi2 with Windows? VI Control already allows you do all the other stuff, with the exception of the depth of batch commands.

RAVEN was around for 3 years before we added the gestures for macOS and Batch Commands are way more useful since they can do 100's of key commands and a gesture can only do 1. Multi-Touch Faders/Sends/Pans and the navigation/editing tools on the RAVEN tool bars make for a perfect solution for controlling the DAW.

for sure, but I feel like if you have to touch buttons to switch between tools and perform commands, what's the REAL difference between doing it on the keyboard and on the raven where you're losing screen real estate for the tool bar?
not here to troll btw, really interested and just playing devil's advocate to try and make an informed decision. any experience using Tablet Pro to do gestures?

I think the goal is to not reach for the keyboard if possible. Plus you need 2 hands to perform most cool key commands in pro tools. I haven't messes with tablet pro yet. I am working on building gestures direct into Batch Commands so users can assign Batch Commands to gestures.
