TnMike on Motunation asked me to post here the BC .ravlay for on/off/rec of automation. The green and red automation buttons are just simple mouse click routines. The purpose is to avoid having to have the automation section open in the DP mixer. Since the automation section in DP is in the same stack as rec/mute/solo/ buttons it takes to much vertical space on the Raven and avoids duplicating the s/m/r buttons on the Raven. Hopefully Slate will redesign the big Raven mixer so a DP mixer can float above the big Raven... Labman do you (or anybody) know how to get this screen?

That is the MTX screen, since the size of the screen is different, it requires a different layout for 46"MTX users. Also, if you recorded this mouse click, you will need to add the python click file as well as the BC. Then users will need to drag the python click into the user folder. In order to navigate to the User/Libary, hold down the Option Modifier while clicking the "Go" tab in finder. This will reveal the User Library. Once opened, scroll to Application Support/Slate Media Technolgy/Raven.

Once I navigate to the "Slate Media Technology" folder, where do the two .py files go? Directly in that folder or within the Raven MTi folder? Once they are in the correct location, do they then have to be imported into the Raven? Thank you

Thank you! I just finally jumped in and started recording mouse movement etc and now with Waxman's suggestion of parking a small channel strip in the upper left have created automation rec, automation play, touch, latch and overwrite buttons which is what I most often use. It took me a minute to realize that the channel strip NEEDS to be on the raven window and not on my secondary display. Thanks for the info.
