Hi,
Many times when mixing I want to import settings from one session to another where the initial settings are a great starting place, but the automation that follows does not apply to the next song...
The plugin automation lanes are always hidden after importing session data... this makes it hard to find and open to expose them for selection to delete
What I would like to do is able to delete the automation after the initial "anchor" point on far left of the session at 0:00 and keep nothing after...especially for plugin, mute, aux sends, ALL automation, just keep the one single initial automation point and no others.
When mixing different songs recorded during the same session it would fantastic to import the initial settings for volume, plugins, etc. so you don't need to rebuild the sounds and initial mix balances you like that help with project consistency - but NOT the song specific automation that follows....
Does this make sense??
Thanks...

That sounds pretty cool I think we could work something like that.. it could delete all the automation after bar two. I will post a BC tmw.
