Oh I see, you want to put an hardware insert on the track. Then just use "click insert a-j" and add cursor down and cursor right until u get the I/o you want or type in the name of he i/o..

One more question. LOL.
What command selects all tracks? I know you can right click "all" in groups and select all tracks in group. Which is every track in session.

and two more question on top of this. LOL
When im creating a new set of tracks. Say i want to make 4 tracks for guitar. 2 di and d amp tracks. I want to set the INS to my specific setup on my input. How do i do that?
Can I make a custom map for naming tracks instead of default name scripts? I want to name all my drum tracks for instance in my script. I have a set number of tracks i use however. Also same for vox etc.

I think we are thinking of two different things. I want to be able to highlight all tracks. You can option click the track name and it will highlight all the tracks. I think it would be super useful to be able to select all tracks and hide them with one batch command. I guess its easy enough to option click the name. heh. Maybe it does do this. I cant seem to figure it out though.

My bad. I meant to say "return" not "enter"
1. Return 2. CMND A

I guess I will just add on to this thread:) I don't see a "select track input" in the quicklist...only output. Am I missing something? Thanks!

Yeah were are thinking of different things. That selects all clips in the edit window. I meant select all the track names so they glow white in mix or edit. So i can hide selected tracks. The only way i can see to highlight all tracks is the option click one of the track names in the mix or edit window. Be sweet if there was a cursor click or macro for this. It would be useful.

And to "select all tracks" use Return CMND A Also you can use "shoe custom" to show/hide any tracks you want, just finish with 1. Show custom 2. Hide all 3. Return This will hide all tracks

should i use key commands to scroll down to hide all tracks? I notice that when the tracks are selected or not selected the amount of cursor down movement changes. Cant fully automate unless the conditions are right.

Just use the word as a key command and it will always find the word since the cursor movement depends on what is in the session.
1. Show Custom Tracks 2. Hide 3. Cursor Right 4. MIDI 5.Enter

you cant put a space in hide all tracks though with a key command. I want that command. I cant select it with the name and the cursor amount changes if you have tracks selected or not selected.
Maybe add the ability to add a space in update? Or is there a way?

figured that out. You have to type the separate key commands.
1. show custom tracks 2. Hide 3. spacebar 4. all 5. return
Might be useful to explain this a bit in the manual. Its definitely not an obvious thing. It clears up a lot when you realize how to do this.

when i add this script to the beginning of my vocal chain script the mouse clicks dont work. Not sure why. But when it goes to add my favorite native plugin the whole script breaks. The window is scrolled all the way up and it still messes up.
