Hey, just got my MTi2 yesterday afternoon and am trying to make sense of it all. Bit of a learning curve, but I'm definitely excited to see where I end up when all's said and done.
Issue:
1. When I'm in Ext. Mixer screen and hit insert the window pops up as normal. At first when I'd select an insert it would do nothing, but after a couple Raven software restarts it seems to be ok. UNTIL I go to select the actual insert from the PT window. In the tutorial video the user just touches the word insert and holds it down until the plug-in menu comes up, but it doesn't work for me at all. It's not a calibration issue (tried pushing all over the place and re-calibrating). Works fine with the mouse, but then why have a Raven
2. Issue/Question. The manual says "Click the Green Maximize window button on the top left of the Pro Tools Edit Window. Take the lower right corner of the Edit Screen and bring the window size to about on half the screen top
to mid-screen." First, that last sentence is unintelligible, but also when you're maximized you can't scale the window, so not sure what is supposed to happen. When I do maximize though, Raven does not sit on top of PT, so I don't bother. Do I have a setting wrong? I'm not having issues with Raven aligning (not really...), am I missing something?
Questions:
1. I see in other posts some references to BCs like "Show 10 inserts" but I don't see that button anywhere. Is that a custom BC someone made?
2. There are BC panels pre-made that I like, such as Clip Gain, or one of the Menu Items panels. Unfortunately, those live on different stock layouts. Is there a way to pick a pre-made panel from one layout and put it in another without rebuilding the entire thing?
3. How would I edit the "Nudge+" button, for instance, so that when I hold it down it opens Nudge Value window? Nice to have something like that on one button, instead of 2.
4. I can use my keyboard num pad to select memory locations as normal, but for some reason the "." key not doesn't add a location. I'd prefer to not have the Raven memory location keys on my custom toolbar, but maybe that's my option?
