Hey,
So I've also been messing around with the Raven in Studio One as I'm very much considering making the switch to Studio One from Pro Tools. I figured I would see how well the Raven works with it. As of right now, I'm not using the Raven software with it, just the MTi itself as I don't want to pay $100 for another license until I know it's something that I will be using a lot.
Now, my first question is since Slate has worked with Presonus to make using Studio One with the Raven the best it can be, do you get other features and better response when actually using it with the Raven software or does the Raven software simply provide things like Batch Commander and the external mixer and whatnot?
Secondly, in Studio One, using certain modifier keys with the mouse do certain things. For instance, holding down shift and moving the faders allows you to move the faders more precisely and in smaller increments. Yet, holding down shift and touching the faders does not do this. Any reason for that?
Thanks, and I appreciate you guys letting a new Raven user bombard the board with questions! Jameyz, you've been insanely helpful.
Cheers.

The Raven uses "Batch Commander for Studio One" since Studio One is already setup for multi touch. So you will need to use the "Batch Commander for Studio One" app. So there is no External Mixer/Floating Mixer. The Batch Commander does come with the transport other touch controls from the Raven.
2. Touch and mouse clicks are a different thing. Multi Touch uses TUIO and the mouse uses regular OS clicks. This is why the modifiers don't work with touch. Be sure to get your gestures setup right for Studio one. Hopefully Presonus will support modifiers with TUIO soon.
Here is an article on how to quickly setup Touch and Gestures for Studio One.
Be sure to check out the QuickStart video.
