I have been up and running for almost a week now.
When can we see return sends on the mixer? Maybe a drop down option on the “RAVEN MIXER”.
When can I see returns in the mixer at all? I read on the blog, about a year ago that would be included.
Can I copy and paste other features of the raven toolbar so I can have, for instance, two MIDIPADS one in two different parts of the toolbar?
Why can’t I customize the MIDIPADS? As in, set it up to cover other parts of the keyboard. Although its not velocity sensitive so I guess it doesn’t matter too much but if it did I’m sure I could find it very useful.
How do I copy and paste whole batch command bars from different layouts to include them in one layout. As in, why isn’t there an option to see all layouts when customizing my toolbar, so I can grab the best of the best and put it into one layout?
I am having great trouble with the software, or parts of it just stop working. Right now, I have been toggling back and forth with an "extra screen", so I can write this post. I just checked in with the Raven, the transport doesn't work and the layout buttons are greyed out. I then either have to restart Raven, Live or the computer all-together. This in itself is killing my workflow. Is this common for Live users?
I am also having great trouble actually recording any mouse clicks to accomplish setting up my own batch commands. I have several that would be very custom to my workflow that I would like to design. I cannot get it to record even one and I feel that I have followed the instructions to the letter several times. I suppose I will revisit that again.
Also, how the hell can I get a real explanation as to how to “key command” program batch commands. Does that literally mean, using only key commands to create the batch command?
Am I missing a programming element to all this?
Do I need programming skills or software to accomplish certain things here?
Can you combine key commands and mouse clicks? What would be the best way to approach this.
I want to go crazy and set everything I can in a batch command, even production techniques but I can’t even get it to record one pass with the mouse click.
I can see how this tool could be very effective for me eventually.
I hope someone on here, using Live or maybe at Slate can work with me ASAP and we can develop some really cool stuff for Live.
