Hey Guys, I was hoping you could help me out. I've been wanting to install my MTI in my vocal booth which would require a long cable run/extension. Have any of you been able to successfully operate your MTI over long cable runs using third party extenders or signal boosters? If so, which products are you using? Many thanks!

I have seen it done before, i can;t remember what booster they used, but depending on what MTI you have, you will want a powered DVI or HDMI extender, as well as a powered USB hub extender.. I believe they convert the HDMI or DVI to ethernet for these type of long runs..

Most Active DVI extenders that can pass 1080P should work fine. You would also want a active USB extender to run along with it.

Perhaps you can try one of those Dual Link Dvi connectors. I haven't tried this long of a run before, but I will ask the hardware team today what they think.

Hi Jamey, in the end I had to go back to the dvi, using the tripplite dvi booster and a 50ft dvi cable, works perfectly. Thanks !
