Even though I finally got used to having the Raven as my main screen with the OS Menu Bar, etc, the update to have any screen useable as the main screen was a welcome addition for me. Now that I have the main back on my Imac, the problem I've found is that I have to adjust the ProTools mixer window as if there were still a menu bar present at the top of the screen. Otherwise there is some misalignment with the meters and buttons lining up correctly and the track colors don't always scroll with the track when in this new "full screen". It seems this slight bit of extra space would allow us to take advantage of the extra real estate, but that's not quite the case. Personally I would love to be able to show my EQ curves, as I work in post, so there are channel strip EQ's on all of my channels. I know other people have expressed interest in losing the icon bar, etc. for additional sends/insert viewing. Anyway, just a thought for a future update to be able to take advantage of this. Attaching some screen shots to see the differences with and without the menu bar.

To show the Apple Menu Bars on both displays, Check "Displays have separate spaces" in System Preferences /Mission Control.

I'd prefer to use the extra space to have more view options available on the mixer than have 2 menu bars and separate spaces.

I'd prefer to use the extra space to have more view options available on the mixer than have 2 menu bars and separate spaces. The RAVEN Internal Mixer needs to have that menu bar for Pro Tools to be the correct size. Otherwise you will need to keep the mixer on the other side with the menu bar.

The RAVEN Internal Mixer needs to have that menu bar for Pro Tools to be the correct size. Otherwise you will need to keep the mixer on the other side with the menu bar. Right, I get that. Basically my suggestion is that since you've added the ability to move the main OS screen off of the Raven, which is awesome, why not in the future, make the extra space useable for something other than the menu bar. There's alot of feature requests here to have more sends or inserts viewable, expanded sends, or the delay compensation window, comments, (yes I know there's a Show Comments macro) lose the Icon window for something more useful. Personally, I'd like to see my EQ curves. Currently I still keep my mixer on the Raven, without the Menu bar, all I have to do is resize the window down a bit to make it how it was since I personally don't like having "separate spaces" in OS. This is just a suggestion to help with those extra view requests.

A thread risen from the dead, but I'm having a similar issue. Has anyone had an issue with their non-touch display as the main causing alignment issues unlike the one above? My Raven mixer window will currently not align correctly when not set as the main display. It's a vertical alignment issue. I'm left with misaligned grey channel strips and no meters. However, when I switch back to one of my Ravens as the main display all is well. It's not dependant upon amount of inserts. Neither 10 or 15 works. Most likely just an issue with the OS updates, I can set any display to the main and the RAVEN will align on my Mojave rig. I would assume you are on Big Sur or Monterey, but it is hard to tell with the partial screenshot you linked. Please provide as much detail as possible about the system being used so we can trouble shoot. or better yet, please file a support ticket so we can keep track of these different setup issues. slatemediatechnology.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

Yes, Monterey. Sorry I forgot to list versions. Monterey 12.1 on an M1 mini, Pro Tools 21.12.0.97, and Raven 3.9.4.
Opening ticket.
