I have been using Raven for a week, and started to try and customize some things this weekend and ran into the question posted
many times on this board, Where is a list of the Batch commands... there are so many how will we ever learn what we can do.....
so I set out to find them, and I did. I also found over 300 Automator workflows for many things. So if the board will let me,
I am posting RichText list and PDF list. This is just the names. I also will try to post my own little workflow I started first thing to
kick off Vpro, Logic and Raven.
I am always trying to learn and in this last hour, I've learned more about how to manipulate Things in Automator than I have buying three books,
just by reading the code. I hope I can do the same with what I think is xml code in Batch Commander,.... but to do that I will have to know what
commands are available via xml for Raven.
So far this week the installation and first use has been great. I also got a brand new Trash can Apple MacPro which came with El Capitan, I didn't want the
OS, but I didn't have a choice. I'm running a Focusrite SaphirePro 40 audio interface and a Motu midi express 128.
So far the most frustrating thing has been.......the realization that I am going to have to set my old computer back somewhere near my desk and try
to search for ten years of samples, registration codes, and the like. If any of you have a secret incantation to move Kontact EZKEYS BDF GROOVE AGENT.....
you get the picture. Most of my samples are stored on an external drive.... but the programs and updates are on the old mac. All of my old samples I picked up
years ago for ESX sampler are buried in multiple places on my old unit. But I back up regularly and I think really it's just the time....I am ready to be using this
new gear, it is soooooo, fast.... Raven is so good.... I will finish with some questions:
Why haven't you guys just posted the list like people want? Or mentioned the workflows,.... I wondered where the workflows were intended to be used?
Is Batch Commanders script XML and for us geeks who like to experiment ( I need to make 15-20 Flex and Tempo buttons, I could trash the melodyne)
