Hi there
Recent proud owner of a Raven MTI running latest OS on an Apple Macbook Pro 10.11.3 El Capitan and running Ableton Live 9.6. Everything works pretty well except I can't seem to record my own batch commands using the record feature. I hit record and nothing gets recorded, either mouse clicks or key commands. I can trigger batch commands and type in manually one line per line but the record feature doesn't seem to be working... Any ideas?
Also, as an aside (although maybe linked?) i see reference to gestures in the UPDD app? I can't seem to find that application on my computer?
Cheers Geoff

After you are done recording it, you will need to go add it into the script from the User tab.. are you doing this correctly?? UPDD gestures can be found in the "Utilities" folder inside applications.

Thanks Jamey
I don't see the UPDD app...should this have been installed when i installed Raven or should it be on my mac regardless.
I was doing the batch command recording wrong...thank you. However, it appears to just record clicks, not click and drags...is that correct? Can this be added? I'm trying to record a batch command which vertically expands the midi clip edit view window - by clicking on the split window bar and dragging upwards. It appears to only record the clicks, not the drags. Can you think of another way to do? I note that there are batch commands to resize windows in ableton (to accommodate extra raven racks) - how do these commands work (given I can't actually view in script format what the command is doing)? Thanks Geoff

The UPDD app will be in the Utilities folder in applications. You are correct. The record feature can't do click and drag. If you have any python scripting skills you could edit the script to do a click and drag manually. Here is an script I just made to move the MIDI bar up.. You can manually change the X/Y depending on how high you want the window to go. MOVE MIDI BAR.py (109 B) just drag this script into the folder.. /Users/Name/Library/Application Support/Slate Media Technology/Raven MTi/Python/Live/Single you will have to "option" click the go menu in Finder to get to this user library.

Hmm..odd, it's definitely not within utilities folder in applications...strange!
Oh that's great - thank you...I'll check out, thank you! Geoff

Hi Jamey
I'm on MTI1. Definitely no UPDD..i've even re-installed. Is there some other way I can download the app...It would be really useful to enable some gestures when not using the Raven for DAW control.
I'm absolutely loving the Raven btw. I had a few doubts but having played with it and recorded a few batch commands i'm already loving it. The ability to do touch and drag using Python is great. The MOVE MIDI BAR worked a treat, thank you. I've copied and modified to create one to reset it! Cheers Geoff

Great stuff. Glad you dig it. If you are on MTi1 then you will not have UPDD, you will have Multi Touch Platform driver.

Hi Jamey Is there a way I can set gestures using Multi-touch platform / MTI1? Thanks Geoff As of now there isn't, I will ask the programmers if there will be anyway to implement this in the future..

So I'm also having this issue, but with the standalone BC software. I can't record even mouse clicks. Trying very basic actions, adding them to the script and get nothing. The prerecorded ones in batch commander seem to work fine, just cant record my own.
Any help would be appreciated.

After you record them, you need to add them into the action line from your user quicklist.. Go to 29min and you will see the step by step on how to do it. youtu.be/YiZBW1UEBVk

It is still a ways away, but it is on the list. However I don't think UPDD works with IR touch screens, just P-cap. So that would have been too easy..
