There is one thing, sometimes it will quit for no reason, no warning it will just disappear , hard to explain to a client so still unable to use it professionally with confidence . Same here. I feel fancy with my mti2, but never in front of a client. Mine loses touch control, so I have to switch to the mouse, so when I rather not try to impress clients with the touch screen. I have a feeling that is an el capitan graphics issue with the Floating and External mixers. I noticed when a big session is playing, sometimes the external and floating mixers will not respond to touch. Does this sound like what is happening??

I've had issues where I lost touch quite often. I had to either restart the machine or kill UPDD (and it's helper apps) and relaunch them.

Yes a hub for the raven (a thunderbolt 2 dock in fact). It's set to monitor 1, the MTi2 is the main display and spaces for each display are disabled. The problem is that the UPDD helper app (I forget what it is called) is crashing (shows up as not responding and red in activity monitor). I did try it plugged in directly at one point and still had the same issues. The machine doesn't sleep either, the only thing that happens is that the screens blank after 15 minutes.
I think we've emailed about this before. It's happened with 3 different computers on my DAW setup to date so it's not a hardware issue and I've tried with 2 different OSes (Yosemite and El Capitan) and it did the same thing on both of them as well. You did send along an app (caffeine I think it was called) but I didn't try it ... I do want my monitor to blank.

There is a new UPDD Version 6 in the works now, so hope that will fix the issues. Have you tried a new USB cable?? Do you think it is the screen blank that is crashing UPDD??? Can you email me a screen shot of you energy settings so I can try to replicate..

I'm not sure if it has happened since I started using the beta or not, I will pay more attention and if/when it does I will try and capture more info (like maybe UPDD logs if they have them, etc). I don't think it's the monitor blanking that was causing the issue, it almost always seemed to be after a more significant amount of time (overnight or many hours). I will pay more attention to it if it happens again and report back.

And sorry, yes to the different USB cable (changed at same time as last computer change). I had to do all the computer change around stuff to troubleshoot my UAD satellite which was causing me issues (and is now replaced, yay). Very busy time of year for me right now though as I work for an educational and approaching the end of semesters so I don't have as much time as I'd like to be making music

Still fixing some Automation bugs with Cubase/Nuendo.. Update will be out next week. Good to hear , and looking forward to it . You guys took your time on this 3.03 update (for good reason) instead of rushing it out the door too early as before ..., I am hoping lots of the annoying bugs I experienced from version 3 (ie; on my system - not everyones) that forced me back to version 2 are eliminated enough for me to finally use 3.03 (and enjoy) Suggestion ;A good feature to consider adding in a later update (after 3.03) for pro tools users is a button that hides/ exposes the cloud collaboration buttons that are now seen (just below the insert / send slots) of Pro Tools 12.5 MIX WINDOW PS ; I am aware from an earier post from you JameyZ in another thread where you state that ; the collab features in 12.5 are still usable (on Raven) in the EDIT Window , but that feature should also be usable in the Mix window also ..., A simple button to expose that would be nice

..., Because with the Ravens "existing" Raven screen layout with Pro Tools 12.4 (and earlier) mix window ..., currently only has room for the current Plugin INSERT & SEND slots, ie; until Slate Raven Devs work on a solution to integrate this "collaboration slot" with a future update.Note to everyone ; I am aware from an earlier post from you JameyZ in another thread, where you state that ; the collab features in 12.5 are still usable (on the Raven) in the EDIT Window , - but that feature should also be usable in the Mix window IMO ..., A simple button added to hide / expose that would be nice

One of the rules of being an audio engineer is behaving professionally , so it comes as no surprise that you have been polite and decent. Although at times it can be a struggle.
