Well the Raven arrived, no registration card, no cleaning cloth or revitalising fluid...Awaiting customer support response. So far not so good, though it looks very pretty. Initial set up went okay, though it took a while to work over HDMI, used VGA to make sure the thing was working, then switched back to HDMI and it woke up. Now passing time waiting on customer support. I am sure someone will be in touch shortly. Been over two hours and no reply...How about that beta you were going to send out does that need me to be registered?

Not yet but it's going to be good. I have been using the Raven for 2 months on 10.10.5 OSX and it has worked fine. No crashes...

Its very possible you will see an update this week. But I'm %100 it will be out by next week. Its almost a month later and still no update for the MTi...? I'm loosing faith here because its pretty close to useless for mixing on Logic. Fader banking resets all the volumes, audio effects just doesn't work at all, pre-programmed batch commands don't all work as they should.... As it stands now, its unusable in a professional environment so its just an expensive gimmick.

The audio fx button is fixed and the tools batch commands are fixed for logic 10.2.1. Since logic decided to change the key commands for tools in this update. As far as fader banking resetting volumes, that isn't happening on any system I have tested, so maybe you can share a video, or file a support ticket and we can do a screen share..

I can wait for 3.03 ..., I'd rather see Slate take they're time to get it right this time instead of rushing out another another buggy version too quickly out the door ...., because with the previous three X (buggy on my system) version 3 updates ..., it all got to be too much of a headache for me that I just ended up going back to version 2.**

At this point I would say it's not worth any of us keeping asking ... they likely want to deliver as soon as they can so I'm guessing that as soon as things are ready we'll see it ... anything other than that is shear speculation.

I wasn't speculating, merely asking a question. And I'm hoping for an answer, if you don't mind :-)

I don't mind at all, was just saying that it's been said before and didn't happen so why bother asking if the same thing is likely to happen?

Or the end of the next... hehe, just teasing. I'm curious as to what major problems people are having? I'm running an MTI 1 with latest OS using Ableton 9.6 and mine runs pretty smoothly? My main gripes are for additions (controls of sends etc., ability to record mouse drags not just clicks - without having to resort to Python) rather than bugs.

There are different issues with the different DAWs (in addition to any bugs that are just part of the Raven software or Batch Commander). There are some pretty serious issues with Digital Performer, which at least for my workflow are showstoppers right now.

Using Nuendo, there are several problems, including automation, banking and mixer issues. You can read all about it in the Cubase/Nuendo section on this forum. The issues force me to come up with workarounds, which slow down the work flow. Other than that the Raven seems quite stable and fun to work with.

Yep it's getting there and it's off to a good start. Since Digital Performer support is brand new I was sort of anticipating a bit for things to get good and solid. Still loving my MTi2 bugs and all.
