Had my new MTi for a couple of days, and still getting my head around it. What a game changer!
I'm trying to set up a mix template in which I can add 7 different sends to every audio track (ideally with the correct settings I have made). Is there any way to do this with batch commands?
I found an interesting way of doing it with import session data....but realised this was an HD only feature. It involved importing all of my mix template into my current session, but the mix template could have dummy audio tracks with the sends in place...from there you could exclusively choose to import just the sends to each audio channel.
Hope this makes sense! If there was a way to do this with a BC that would be sweet!!
Hey DK, Welcome to the Multi Touch land. Thanks for post in..
This is a great idea by the way.
You could use "New Send To Selected Tracks" Followed by "New Send to Next Aux" with a Repeat 6X. This will make 7 sends and Aux tracks for you. But you would have to switch to external mixer send mode to adjust your volume of the sends. If you already have your buses made then you could tell raven what buses to use with the Add Aux Custom, or New Aux Next Custom.
I can't seem to import NEW AUX BUS CUSTOM, it says it's not compatible with my version of Raven (2.0.3)?
I think I will be able to do exactly what I need to do....it's just figuring out the nitty gritty. So you are saying it's possible to add sends to existing busses (no new aux created), and do this multiple times?
What I need to do is very particular haha. Ideally there would be two batch commands. The first would add 5 sends (F-J) to selected tracks. The second would add 2 more sends on slots 4 & 5 of A-E....and using your "Do to all sends" BC, ideally these could have their faders at inf to begin with.
If you could re-post NEW AUX BUS CUSTOM that is compatible with 2.0.3 that would be very helpful to me!
create your own custom batch command first in order to add the BC folder to your user library, then you should be able to import these.. If you still can't import go to the user/library/applicationsupport/slatemediatechnology/MTI/Batch
I've just stumbled upon the import session data feature which I previously thought was HD only. It exists in standard PT. This allows me to import only send assignments onto tracks. This does exactly what I need.
I'll give that a go too though and import the BC the way you suggest!
