Hello, Got my MTi2 last week and I've been using it every day since then, but suffering from frustrations of inconsistency with mixer views using Cubase. I'm frustrated because when it works it's absolutely brilliant but when the mixer fails it's impossible to reset without rebooting the whole system. What happens is that when I load a session with, say, 12 tracks - the Raven mixer overlays perfectly. But when I then change sessions to a session with less tracks the Raven mixer track count remains at the previous sessions total and then overlays the tracks as empty tracks on the internal mixer screen. I've attached two screenshots to explain - the first shot is a session with 13 tracks, when I close that session and load a session with 4 tracks (the next screenshot) then the 13 tracks remain as the overlay. Any explanation would be gratefully received as I really like the Raven workflow. Thanks Douglas

Additionally I'm using Cubase 8 - rather than 8.5 as it says on my signature.

I think this is just HUI not sending the correct info. Sometimes I can get it to snap back in by re ordering the tracks. Just drag track 1 to track 4 and it will snap in. Usually seems to happen with instrument tracks. Or try creating an audio track and that will re sync the HUI.
I do see what you mean about switching from Project to project and the faders are staying up with the original project.
There is probably a fix for this. I will create a support ticket for it.
I guess for now, you would have to quit Raven and Reopen if when you switch to projects with less than 24 tracks and don't want to see the extra faders.
hope this helps..
