Hello, Just downloaded the 3.0 demo version of BC and just wanted to say that so far it's exactly what we were looking for here at our studio. Anyway I've been attempting to use the "record button" but am unclear if I'm using it correctly. The only manual I'm able to download is 2.5 and it shows no record button: While my 3.0 screen shows me this: Ultimately though all I really want to do is this: Highlight a region, right click and snap it to the end of the previous region. However I can't find any "right mouse clicks" in the Quicklist that will do this. Can I use the record button for this task or would this have to be a custom script from you.
Thanks,
Pro-Tools 10.0.0 Mac G5 10.9.4

youtu.be/6sDK3RgDxn4?t=15m18syoutu.be/YiZBW1UEBVk?t=29m59sSo you would have to record yourself running all of the key commands of selecting the next region blowing it up to fit in the window then recording a right click, and finally your type in snap. You should be able to record it all in one go but it may be easier breaking into different pieces. Another way is enter all the key commands using Batch commander but only recording a right click, then finishing the script off with the batch command. I think you could do it without a click by using something like this... or here is the BC if you want to import into your Quicklist.. SNAP NEXT REGION.ravbc (897 B)

Thank you so much this worked perfectly.
We added a few more steps in order to fine tune it for our needs.
This one macro is going to save us a ton of time on an upcoming job.

One more question.
One of our macros consists of 9 steps. We need to repeat these 9 steps over and over (anywhere between 5-100 times depending on the job at hand).
Is there any way we can simply package these 9 steps into one file and save it (much like the factory pre-sets) so we can simply select this one new macro (containing the 9 steps) and tell it to loop 100 times rather than creating a giant 900 line script.
We also need to vary the number of times we loop this script depending on the job. Having to count out and create new macros with different numbers of loops for each new job can get a bit time consuming.
Thanks, Greg

Thanks, Greg You will have to export the BC and drag it into the Raven App contents by right clicking and opening contents then move the BC into the folder. /Applications/Raven MTi.app/Contents/Resources/BatchCommands_Consolidated/3.0.0/ProTools.. Then you can just repeat it.. But the only issue with this, is you will not be able to stop the script in the middle.. Unless you force quit raven.. Also when you update the App you will need to re add it into the app again.

Hi Jamey,
I tried your suggestion from above however I couldn’t find the /RavenMTi.app/Contents/Resources/BatchCommands_Consolidated/3.0.0/ProTools path in the Applications folder (or anywhere else for that matter).
Instead I put the exported BC files here: /Applications/Batch Commander/Contents/Resources/BatchCommands_Consolidated/3.0.0/ProTools
Unfortunately I can't see my new BC files under the Factory Settings tab. Not sure if I'm missing a step or what?
Thanks, Greg

But there are no filters on it so it won't show in the factory list. can you upload the BC and I will add the correct script so that it will show up in your BCer app???

hi, the record function is not working on PT 12....is there a tutorial? I record everything and save it but when i click the command nothing happens ( I want some aux tracks with Reverb, delay and so on only with one click) The recording must be added back into the script after they are saved, you will need to go into the user quicklist and search for the name that you entered after stopping the recording. For adding aux tracks with Reverb, I would check out the "PT Track Hack" This way you can instantly pull up an AUX with the correct I/O and plugins on the track. Then you can use "Custom Send" batch commands, followed by the name of the Reverb Bus to add sends quickly..
