This is like back in the day when you'd drive to LA (I'm from the Midwest) on Route 66 and you'd roll through Bakersfield. "Oh boy, I'm almost there!" Um well, not quite. All that's left is some travel time and on-the-street-training.
I have PT 11, which I use when I must, but much prefer DP, because the corporate boot on your neck is so dainty compared to PT. I just don't like hearing Avid impatiently flicking their riding crop against their pantaloons. "Give us money, bitch!" Nice. It's the "standard".
After the first few software offerings, I started buying Slate products with no try out. Because the products always exceeded the marketing. I've never been disapointed and now at last, the Slate juggernaut has delivered again. I got Raven a year ago on faith. I'll be installing the DP overlay, etc. tomorrow and am stoked (understatement) to ramp DP up to the da quickness I was at many years ago with Sonic Solutions and QuickKeys.
Hot damn! This is exciting! Thank you Slate, for reverse engineering that Area 54 technology!
