Hi,
and sorry if I sound a bit mean, but... WTF?
I updated BC to version 3 today, and this is what I have found this far: - I can't load setups directly from finder. BC opens but after loading setup it crashes.
Then, when I have loaded the desired setup:
- Most of the commands that include mouse clicks (i.e. "Click track pop-up") don't work. When I replace every such command manually, one by one, they work again. - If batch command edit is open I'm not able to go to PT to check things (this is probably due to the possibility to record commands but it's not nice...)
I waited for this update hoping that some things were fixed but instead of that I have to rebuild everything from scratch.
In commercials Steven tells how Batch Commander spares time and makes everything so easy, but today I totally disagree.

Can you upload the Ravlay or broken BC?? I can take a look at the code and see if it is converting to 3.0 correctly.. Also, be sure to "reset factory defaults" then load the BClay.
Or if you try re saving the whole panel and reload the panel? or save the BC then reload it?
I don't remember a BC called "Click Track POP-UP" was it called something else?? What is it clicking?

Hi, here is one. You can see what is it doing, but here shortly: - Show all tracks - Hide all tracks - Create new track - Open EQ insert A - Save plugin settings to session folder - Delete selected track Session.ravbc (3.37 KB) I had done everything, saving, loading, restoring etc. before I wrote, but nothing helps. You'll find "click track pop-up" several times on this session.ravbc, in the script actually no click-based command works. And I've got about 100 more here to be fixed.

Thanks for posting this.. This actually seems more like a bug, you won't have to fix them all.
Are these all saved to your "User" or are they all on a BClay? if i could open the BClay i could figure out why they are saving/loading wrong..
I see the problem with the clicks.. So that can be fix by in an update..

Some of them are in "User", some only in BClays. Should I send you also one of my layouts?
BTW, how can I get back that checkbox "check updates" in startup screen? I unchecked it by accident...

clear out this file /Users/supaman/Library/Application Support/Slate Media Technology/Batch Commander
We will get the bug fixed soon, but if you want I can try to fix some things for you, should just take a few minutes... having the BClayout would be the easiest...

I am not seeing the bug when reloading the BC's from my user tab.. I only noticed it when loading an older BClay..

Ok I found the fix until the next update... Just Right click the "Panel" name and "save" the Panel to the Panel quicklist.. Then reload the entire panel right back on top, and the BC's should all fire again.. Here is the old ravlay and the clicks should launch now.. ProTools Prodution Setup v3 EDIT.bclay.zip (50.75 KB) sorry for the inconvenience.. We will get the bug fixed soon..

Another click-related bug? When I record own commands (thanks alot of this feature!), save and then add into script, it works. Then I save whole panel to this new panel quicklist and reload it. And... Every mouse click I recorded is gone! (But you probably knew this?)
Btw. Are the mouse click positions tied to the whole screen or to the current window, ie. preferences? I mean, what happens to clicks if screen resolution changes?

Wow. So when saving the Bclay my clicks work fine upon reopening.. But when I save to a panel the Clicks don't disappear for me they just stop firing of... Def another bug.. We will get this fixed soon.
The mouse clicks are all X/Y related and don't work with modifiers as of yet.

I am hoping and assuming this has been corrected in 3.0.2. I'm working on making new batch commands to make my session flow smoother and faster. Only reason I ask.
