I am mixing away and suddenly I need to add a new plug-in to a a chain… have to instantiate, then right click all other plugs to make the automation safe ( I don't want to overwrite any of their automation), then write static default automation across the entire timeline for the new plug-in with "alt+command+/ " so that i have a base point for my automation.
I always work with all automation active as I am in post production.
A faster way of doing this would be really dandy...
cheers

Really nice idea Mike. I will put this in the next update.
I think I can make to BC's out of this. One would be make the open plugin automation safe. Two would make the next plug in in the chain automation safe. The you could add a repeat to the second BC for as many plug ins as you wanted save 3 or 4.

if you have time send me a Skype message and I can install for you.
