Does anyone know if it is possible for Slate Remote on an ipad or iphone to connect to a Mac Pro that does not have a WiFi Card installed? The Mac Pro is connected via ethernet and the ipad via Wifi to the same internal router- is there a way to make this work? thank you!

Hi Tripmonk,
Just to confirm, your Mac Pro is broadcasting wifi? Your mobile device is connected to the signal that the Mac Pro is broadcasting?
Kind Regards,

HI Trevor, no, my MacPro does not have a WiFi Card and is not broadcasting via wifi. MacPro is hooked up via Ethernet to the same router that the ipad is connect to via wifi- is there a way to connect like this?
Many thanks!

That is how I use it at home. Since I don't have a wifi card in my Mac Pro either.
