1. Close the Slate Remote App & Quit the App from Running in the Background. 2. Quit the RAVEN or Batch Commander App from the Computer. 3. Confirm both the iOS Device & Computer are on the correct, same network. 4. Relaunch the Computer Application. 5. Once Loaded on Computer, Relaunch iOS App.
if that doesn't work try this..
Step 1: Reset Router. Step 2: Deleted the Slate Remote App from the iOS Device and Reinstall It. Step 3: Launch Batch Commander. Step 4: Launch the Slate Remote App.

Sounds like a firewall / router.. Do u have an IPhone u could try it on ? What OS on IPad? Do u have another router? Can u Setup a local connection by making your computer a wireless router?

I don't have any firewall activated, and yes have try´d it on my Iphone as well as my Ipad, BTW they are all connected to my wifi and working with everything else (latest OS on both devices) Maybe its the time capsule who do something between BC and SR, its says that there´s a firewall inside time capsule, but i´m not able to figure that out?
Properly a bug in SR and BC, it wont support time capsule

There should be a way to start a local wifi connection on your computer. I am not exactly sure how, but i will try to find you that info.

There should be a way to start a local wifi connection on your computer. I am not exactly sure how, but i will try to find you that info. That would be great, pretty sure that Time Capsule is doing something to interrupt the communication between BC and SR Try this Create a wireless network between two or more Wi-Fi-enabled computers without using an AirPort Base Station to share files or play your favorite multiplayer network game over the air. Computer-to-computer networks are sometimes referred to as ad-hoc networks. Choose Create Network from the Wi-Fi status icon in the menu bar. If the icon isn’t in the menu bar, choose Apple menu > System Preferences, then click Network. Click Wi-Fi and select the “Show Wi-Fi status in menu bar” checkbox. Give the network a name, and select a channel from the pop-up menu. The default channel is 11, but you can choose a different channel. Select the Require Password checkbox to protect your network with a password. Type the password users will need to enter in order to join your network. Do the following: Type a password of exactly 5 ASCII characters or 10 hexadecimal digits if you chose “40-bit WEP (more compatible)” from the Security pop-up menu. Type a password of exactly 13 ASCII characters or 26 hexadecimal digits if you chose “128-bit WEP” from the Security pop-up menu. Other Wi-Fi-enabled computers within range can join the network you created by choosing it from their Wi-Fi status icon or by choosing it from the Network Name pop-up menu in the Wi-Fi pane of Network preferences. Computer-to-computer networks are not compatible with WPA or WPA2 protected networks.

I´ve just upgraded to the BC 2.51 and now the SR (networks service) sees the wifi, but it don't work, so obviously it must be a bugg in SR
