Hi Guys,
I'm trying to figure out a way to create 1/4, 8th, 16th, 32nd, 1/4 Triplet, 1/8 Triplet, 16th Triplet Quantize commands.
The problem I am facing is that when I run the included quantize commands after I run a Change Velocity (or other event operation) commands, it won't jump back to Quantize in the Event Operations menu.
I guess I would need a "Clear Event Operations" + "Clear/reset Quantize Grid" command first, then selecting the various Quantize Grid options???
Another command I am trying to figure out is "Add/subtract 10 to selected velocity. Again, I guess it would have to clear the Event Operations - select "Change"Velocity" - Reset/clear the options menu - select add/subtract and set to value (10)
I guess the important issue here is resetting the "Event Operations window" and all the values, so when we run specific commands within this window it will select the appropriate values and menu options.
Both of these would greatly improve midi workflow in PT.
Hope this is possible.

This is great stuff. I know what u mean about the settings not defaulting each time. Here are some BCs to get you started.. TRANPOSE.zip (2.24 KB) VELOCITY BC.zip (1.18 KB) maybe you could save some grooves in /Users/COMPNAME/Documents/Pro Tools and then use the "CLICK QUANTIZE" BC to pull up the preset Groove Quantize? Since there does't seem to be a way to reset the Triplet setting, since that is just a Toggle instead of a strict On/off. This one loads up the Logic 16c swing preset. LOAD LOGIC 16C.ravbc (1.03 KB) I will try to get this "Velocity" and "Quantize" BCs into the next update so it is a little easier to accomplish these..

Merci Beaucoup!
The velocity up/down command works great, but only as "set all to" right now. It does not maintain the dynamics if multiple notes are selected unless it can select add/subtract (by 10 - or other value) under options, and reset the Event Operations afterwards. I just altered the ones you gave me to make this work, as long as the RESET Event operations command runs first on every Event Operations batch command. Its sort of a long sequence, not sure if delay times can help here??? How do I go about uploading these commands in my reply's here? I'd be curious to hear what your thoughts are.
Also, click quantize didn't work for me. Would it be possible to do an EVENT>Event Operations>Quantize command, that resets all the values? (Similar to the Event>Event Operations>Change velocity command you created.) Option-0 will get us from Velocity (or other) to Quantize in event operations, but the quantize grid select commands available in BC won't run properly for me after this command.

So when you hit "Click Quantize" bc it doesn't click the Quantize drop menu? Then you would follow it up with the name of the custom groove template that would clear it out, or select the Quantize preset value. The grooves live in here /Users/supaman/Documents/Pro Tools/Grooves Here are my logic ones that should pull up if you move them into the folder.. Logic Style Grooves.zip (10.54 KB) I def wanna check out the BC you made, just hit advanced and you can reply and add attachments. Or maybe you need to start an account.

It does now, I had moved the Event Operations menu beforeā¦ Check out the attached batch command for 8th note triplets. It resets the quantize window after. If we can add a "click on x" command to close the Event operations window at the end of the sequence (so it does not apply the reset default value (1/4 note) quantize command) we might be able to get the triplet/dotted selections to work this way. I think we can create quantize commands for all the values if this works. thanks!!
