Hi guys, beginning to find some tricks with the BCs; here are 3 BCs to begin with which create notes and midi region where your point your finger at in an empty midi track. I feel like it could help people who heavily rely on midi writing, and speedup the workflow of us "midi composers". Some things to take care of when using them: - Lenght of the note depend of the grid value, so if the grid value is one bar, you won't see the second note playing at 3rd underneath the first note. (hope I'm clear, excuse my poor english! ) . If you want to preselect the length of the note and separate it from the grid value, go clic on the little note in the center on top of your toolbar and choose its value. (could be cool to creat a mouse click BC to be able to select the length automatically ) - When you select the place for the first note at another point than the beginning of a bar, the region created with the note will extend itself to the beginning of the bar, but the first note will sure be at the right place you've pointed on the grid. - I was only able to created C3 note, I can't find a way to automate clic inside the "midi event list" window to choose another kind of note, so if your reading JameyZ, you've another possible new mouse moove to create! I've created 3 basic BC: - 1 grid long creat one note and its region where you've pointed at in the normal edit view (not in midi edit window) - 1&3 put one note where you pointed in the normal edit view (not in midi edit window) and then create another one on the 3rd time. (think basic kick or snare) - 1 to 4 put 4 notes on the floor 1 & 3.ravbc (969 B) 1 GRID LONG.ravbc (394 B) 1 TO %0D4.ravbc (1.83 KB)

Very cool stuff, thanks for posting. Give me a couple days to mess around with and will try to come up with some other cool stuff. So far not looking good for clicking in the Midi Event List. Somehow the GUI breaks the mouse. I can get you a BC that will select different Note Lengths in the Edit window..
peace

Cool you like them! Can't wait to see what you will come up with! The GUI seems to need double clicks to really get into it, which raise a question: Can you program double clicks with the Raven?
